Shadow That Dances at Night
The low-hanging palm tree swayed under his weight as he peered downwards to the familiar voice. A smile crept onto his features, easing the bristling fur on his shoulders. He was ready to claw the ears off any Black Pearl triber willing to disturb him while he wanted some peace, unless it was Little or one of his own. Talon always seemed to calm him down. Her voice was soothing, even when his happened to be cold or spiteful. He could not keep up his anger when met by kindness. It was not in his nature. Her question did not surprise him. It was not the first time a situation irritated him to the point he had to separate himself for a while, less risk attacking someone. "Just cooling off, I suppose." he stated with a sigh escaping from his maw, green eyes lingering over the ocean as the sun cast its rays outward.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Tempest gave Crow a firm, yet respectful, dip of the head in return, thankful for her final goodbye. It was small, yet hopeful, and it gave him hope of a speedy return on her part. The leader noticed Flower's reaction as well, and he returned the favor with a comforting purr. He knew he would survive. Though the island was barren, it was still surrounded by water. The summer time was well on its way, and that would bring storms in its wake. Fresh water and fish would be his only sustenance for the time being.
Tempest was finally reassured by Light's playful head bump, and he lightly aimed to cuff him on the ear like old times. Light was like a brother to him in the rightful sense, and he would certainly miss his loyal lieutenant the most. "Be safe, Light." The three words rolled off his tongue, echoing in his mind relentlessly.
Spirit. He had never felt closer to her than on their journey to Outcast Isle. After thinking back on the trip, she had always been by his side when he needed -- a helping paw and a soothing voice could go a long way in a hectic time. He was going to miss her as well, more than he could ever imagine. When he finally approached her, the expression on her features made him want to press against her, comfort her in any way he could think of. He held back for the simple reason of keeping the goodbye simple, not wishing to make it any harder than it already was. Tempest dipped his head downward to meet her teary-eyed pools, a smile creeping onto his features. "Hey there, what did I say about no waterworks?" He rubbed his muzzle along her own, taking with it the single tear that had escaped the depths. "I will be back soon. Have faith."
Fire was next. He turned to her as she spoke, pondering for a moment on the question. "They faced back towards the camp." The answer surprised him. He had never thought about that before. The murderer had to be one of their own . . . not one of the rogues. His eyes widened in faint disbelief, wondering how he could have been so mouse-brained not to consider that before.
Tempest was going to let Light handle the situation with Rain. He needed to get across soon before he got stuck in the middle with the tide closing in around him. He turned finally to Spirit, shaking his head with a somber air about him. "I trust Light to make her see the error of her ways. One cat alone cannot save the tribe." He did not stay long enough to hear about whether or not Raven would be exiled. Tempest gave one final nod before turning and bolting towards the thin stretch of land off in the distance. The patrol had walked him to western shore of Isla Nublar, and when the tide was low, a cat was able to run across the thin stretch of land to an isle off in the distance. The water was just shallow enough for one to make the passage before the tide went back up. When he made it across, the outline of the others on the shore was very faint. His exile had begun.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower felt slightly comforted with Crow's tail tip snapping her back into reality. Realizing that Tempest was leaving them, actually leaving them, was beginning to sink in. A panic settled into her brain, easing its way into her thoughts. What would they do without him guiding them? The she-cat gave Tempest a sad smile, not knowing quite what to say to the leader of the tribe. It was almost awkward in a sense -- the fact she would be returning to the tribe he was supposed to be leading, when in actuality he was being left behind. How ironic. She turned tail and raced after Crow, wishing to keep up with her fellow apprentice.

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream released a sigh of agreement to Fox. It was true that he had the right to defend himself and Rain, but she still did not like the fact it was between one of their own. Stream cast Eagle a confused glance. She was unsure of where his loyalties laid, so she did not trust him regardless. How one had the gall to turn their back on the tribe to follow Shadow was beside her. The she-cat had been about to go back and speak to Sunrise when she noticed the escape of Minnow. What might he be doing? Her ginger and white tabby fur disappeared into the nearby undergrowth, tracking him along the edge of the beach. It was not until he stopped did she notice what he was doing. "Minnow! Are you mouse-brained?" Stream spat at last, narrowing her deep blue eyes in concern.
