Glowstar headed towards the training ground and stopped in the center. "Alright you two, go hunting for a bit then return here so I may test your fighting skills."

Duckpaw smiled faintly, he padded off towards the stream to fish.

Otterpaw snorted and went in the opposite direction, towards Adderstones. Watching every step, he trotted through the cavern, the hissing of adders nearly everywhere. Seeing a mouse scuffling inbetween some rocks, he pounced, crushing it beneath his paws. Picking it up, He nearly stepped on a poisonous adder, and dashed out of the cave, and into the open. Flicking his ears, he buried his prey in some tree-roots and spotted a large hare. Crouching, he used his own tactics and hid under a leaf pile, and watched as it came closer. Once it was close to the leaf pile, he struck a paw out and smacked the hare on it's head with force with unsheathed claws, and made it unconscious. Quickly, he struck a blow to it's spine and killed it, picking it up. Burying it, He looked for more and more prey. [tiny timeskip] By the time he was done, he had caught two hares, a vole and a mouse. Burying them all together, he headed to the river, and waited by the shore for fish. A few got nearer, and he struck out with unsheathed claws, getting at least two bluegills. Picking them up, he headed back and carried his prey by their tails and ears. He met face-to-face with Glowstar, setting all of the prey in front of him.

"Great work you two; now I want both of you to fight. No unsheathed claws, I'm just observing your technique." Glowstar sat down a little away from the two apprentices.

Duckpaw carried four fishes, two were small the others were shiny and plump. In his jaws he managed to hold a finch and a small hare. He tried his best not to drag the prey but most of it was too heavy for his long, lanky build.

Darkclaw sat in camp grumpy as ever. Her eyes skimmed around resting on everyone then moving to another cat. She noticed Emberkit missing and checked the nursery, not finding Emberkit there she bounded toward Glowstar and the apprentices. ''Have you two seen Emberkit?'' she mewed worry visible in her eyes.


Fernclaw looked around camp for kits to talk to, he was bored and the only way to entertain himself was to talk these days.

Leafstep: licked her kits, sleepily closing her eyes and resting her head on her paws. Frostkit gave a high-pitched yawn, having awoken. Still unable to see like the rest of his siblings, he used his sense of touch and scent to find his mother's stomach. The little kit began to suckle.

Cloudedkit mewled and moved towards his mother to nurser. His tiny grey paws pressed against the mossy nest.

Otterpaw nodded, his large, tall figure standing straight as he faced Duckpaw, lashing his tail. He waited for an attack, and began to circle him.
