Sontag bolted to his paws and let out a growl as he heard the loud growl. He interwined his tail to Everest's tail, in a gesture for her to stay where she was.

"There's no need to repay me." Night replied softly.

Everest's eyes widened as she heard the growl. She instantly knew it, it was her brother. She mentally kicked herself for staying in the pack. Everest knew they would come after her, she should have left. She licked Sontag's cheek, and growled at her brother. He responded in a snarl.

Echo looked up. She was on her way back towards camp when an unfamiliar scent drifted towards her on the breeze. Curious, Echo followed the scent of an unknown male wolf.

•Sontag Cave•
Sontag looked at Everest. His eyes seemed to tell her to stay where she was. He stalked forward and was able to see the white brute. He sized himself up to the male. He was atleast twice as big. "Who are you?!"

Echo realized the unfamilar scent was coming from the thicket where Sontag and Everest where. Her eyes widened and she ran toward the thicket.

Ghost looked at the large male. He bared his teeth in response. "I'm here for her." He snarled, nodding towards Everest.

Echo skids around a cluster of trees and stares at the sight before her. A giant white wolf had his back to her, facing Sontag and Everest. Sontag was in a threatening position.

Sontag growled. "She has her own pack now!" He emerged from the thicket and pushed Ghost back. Sontag came out without a scratch. He had been coming in and out of the clearing for years and he knew how to get out without a scratch.

"She truly belongs to ours." Ghost snarled. He glanced at the fae behind him. He glared at Everest through the thicket

Sontag smirked. "You want her? Get your pelt torn to shreds then." Sontag slithered easily into the thicket leaving no hole for Ghost to come in without getting scratched. He stood defensively in front of Everest.
