Amberpaw returned the kind purr with a smile, "I'm well, Otterfoot. Yourself?" She asked as she sat, sweeping her long tail over her small white paws.

Flameleap chuckled as he stared down at Maplekit. Their game would have to be put on hold as he asked them a question. "Alright kits," he said loudly and laid down before gently shaking himself free of his remaining sons and daughter. "Would you rather play with each other, or with another queen's kits?"

"I'm sick of this 'monsti, monsti' business so can I play with someone else's kits?" Petalkit asked his father.

Otterfoot;;

"I'm okay. Just worried about my kits." Otterfoot glanced at her belly with a sigh. Had her former mate carried any diseases? What if they were passed on to her kits?

Redkit hissed at Petalkit. "Fine. You no play with me then I play with monsti." He gave a warning scratch to his brother's flank, huddling up closer to his father.

Petalkit screeched in rage. "How dare you touch me!" he hissed, bounding up to his brother and giving him a scratch back. But more gently, since he wasn't sinister like his sibling.

His eyes widened in surprise and he quickly put a paw between the two. "No fighting," he scolded. "Petalkit, that was a rude thing to say to your brother. Redkit, two wrongs do not make a right. I better not see either of you two trying to claw each other again. Apologize to each other."

Redkit ignored Flameleap, hissing at his brother again. He leaped onto Petalkit, biting hard into his scruff.

Foxfall lay in the tree, his side going up and down as he breathed. His fluffy tail curled up around him, he poked his head up, hearing a faint scuffling sound.

Applekit watched his siblings. "So immature." He muttered.

Creamkit was excited by the fight. "Go Redkit!" She said.

"We should get to the mountains in a day or two." Mottlefur said to Blaze.
