Mud sniffed her paw, then purred. "Cool!" His tail lashed and he smiled. "Wanna go play in the snow?"

"One of my kits- Laurel -hurt herself. We had to bring her here so she didn't die." Beaver replied.

"Well I hope she's doing alright..."She smiled at her friend " how many kits do you have ?"

"Okay! What are we going to do?" Holly meowed, excited.

"Two, Mud and Laurel. Both are handsome and beautiful." Beaver purred.

"Build a wall!" Mud started bouncing outside.

Holly followed, a pep in her step.

Mud bounced around in the snow before starting to pile it up. He scooped up snow and threw some at Holly.

She smiled but the it turned into a sad , gloomy face " I have four...but I'm afraid that one is mute "she hated saying that one of her kits where mute, it crushed her heart.

"I'm sorry." Beaver frowned. He looked at Wisteria. "I should be going now. I need to comfort my mate." He smiled before going back over to Wisteria.

She nodded and half way dipped her head "see ya buddy!"She smiled mischiviously and padded out the den , she started padding in the snow

Holly laughed and flicked snow back at Mud. "Take that!"
