Skyheart was peacefully sleeping, her tail intertwined with her lovely mate, Honeypool. Her head was under his, her flower tucked into her gray tuft of fur on the top of her head. Her eyes slowly opened and she yawned, gazing around. Her ears perked up and she stretched a little before laying back next to him.

Darkpaw awoke as the weak sun started to shine into the den. Yawning, he stretched and glanced out at the snow covered ground. "I might as well wait to eat," he murmured, before getting to his paws and trotting out of the den, grabbing a small mouse and headed into the nursery. "Hi Ravenwillow," he greeted his mom, setting the mouse down. "I brought you some fresh-kill, " he explained.

Terrorspirit was in the warriors' den, and she'd just woken up from her sleep. She rose from her nest, and stretched. She hadn't had a nightmare for once, so it felt like it was going to be a good day for her.
She padded casually out of the den, and into camp. She went and sat by the fresh kill pile, thinking maybe someone would interact with her there, so she wouldn't have to be the one to initiate a conversation first.

Duskridge opened her jaws in a large yawn, eyes fluttering open, “Morning, Sunfl-” she furrowed her kittybrows, confusion glazing over her eyes. “Sunflare?” Duskridge pushed herself to her paws, glancing around the warriors den for her mate.

When she didn’t see them, she exited the den to look in the clearing. Once again, they were nowhere to be found. Duskridge sighed in defeat and joined her sister by the fresh kill pile, “Hey, Terrorspirit. Have you seen Sunflare this morning?”

Terrorspirit noticed her sister, Duskridge, come over beside her. "Hello, Duskridge. And.. I can't say I have. I mean, I didn't look very thoroughly through the den when I woke up a bit ago, so I may have just not noticed them, but I don't know," she answered Duskridge's question.

Tornadostar - She-Cat

The young leader blinked her eyes open and peered out at the dawn sky stretching and leaving the den, she strode out and looked down at her clan. She spotted her daughter and her deputy, and trotted towards them from her den. It was then she noticed the worry in their gazes. “Hello you two.” She gave a respectful nod to each. “What’s going on? You seem worried.”

Duskridge lowered her head at her sister’s reply, “I see .. well, Sunflare likes to go for walks sometimes. Perhaps that’s where they are,” a breath of air blew through her nose, I hope, she thought to herself.

Her head glanced to the side at the familiar tone of her mother’s voice, and she couldn’t help but to smile a bit at her appearance, “Hello, Tornadostar,” she greeted, and, noticing how nobody else was around, raised her head to gently nuzzle her cheek. “Sunflare is missing .. they weren’t there when I woke up, and Terrorspirit is saying she hasn’t seen them.”

the she-cat purred and returned her daughter's gesture. She then hummed "Oh... I hope they're was alright. Were they supposed to be on the dawn patrol?" She sat down, whiskers twitching. "Do you two want to search for them?" Tornadostar glanced around the clan, looking for Sunflare's familiar pelt.

“They may have been. Sunflare, Finchpaw and I went on a walk last night — I passed out in my nest when I got back, I don’t remember who I assigned to the dawn patrol,” Duskridge informed the two with a small sigh, tail twitching behind her in what was probably more annoyance than agitation.

After a moment of contemplation, she nodded and took a step towards the camp entrance, “Yes, lets go.”

Tornadostar nodded at her clanmates "alright." her tail swished lightly through the air, as she stood, and started towards the entrance. Nodding to the guard on duty. Yes, it might not be the best idea for both the leader and the deputy to leave the clan at the same time, but Tornadostar trusted her clanmates. They'd be fine until she and Duskridge got back.

As she left the camp, she blinked a few times adjusting to the lack of light, and examined the forest around her. All seemed peaceful. But Tornadostar was starting to get a bad feeling.
