Skyheart had padded out of the warriors den after hearing the screams, and her heart stopped. Her sisters? She panted heavily, her heart racing faster than a monster, before she sobbed into their pelts, tears streaming down her face.

Foxbite was frozen beside his apprentice, blinking as Coalstar addressed him. He nodded softly, words unable to come to him. He rose to his paws only to see Skyheart run to her sisters. He felt a pang of sympathy, he wasn't the only one suffering by far. He padded beside the she-cat, resting his tail on her shoulder. "I'm so sorry.." It was quiet, only for her to hear as he stepped back. He turned to the cats surrounding the bodies, "Did anyone hear anything? See anything?" he asked loudly, desperately to find someone to blame. Or were the rumors right? Was the dark forest rising again?

kaisley frowned as skyheart ran to her sisters, feeling sympathy for the warrior. “they were wonderful cats, skyheart. you should be glad to say they were your kin.” she said in an attempt to comfort her, though she knew it probably wasn’t what skyheart wanted to hear. if it were kaisley in that situation, she’d want either lavenderscent and rosepaw to jump up and yell, ‘just kidding!’ and laugh it off. but that wasn’t happening. the dark forest was coming for them.

who would be brave enough to kill two cats in one night? the warrior realized, suddenly narrowing her eyes, her ears flicking backwards in scepticism. in response to foxbite’s question, she simply replied, “no, i didn’t see anything. i was asleep until i heard you yelling.”

Brownfoot took a few steps back when Foxbite began to yell. Afraid that he would soon lash out."Lo-look h-how about we-." Brownfoot got distracted when Skyheart came out to the scene and began to cry.

He turn to the warrior. He felt bad but he knew that there was nothing to do to help her. But he was quickly torn away when Foxbite continued to yell, well thats how he heard it."I-i-i-i i don't know. I only woke up when i heard people freaking out!" Brownfoot said sort of loud. His tail was very fluffed out and his legs were beginning to shake. Just the energy of anger floating around everybody was making him uncomfortable.

He backed up a bit further to get away from the feeling when he noticed Darkpaw step out. Making his way over to the apprentice he opened his mouth to try to say something but he had nothing. The only thing he really knew was that something was out there and its coming for everybody. It might even use them against each other. He didn't know, the dark forest were coming back stronger but he didn't know anything past that.

"I'll be making an official statement later. But first we need to remember that it's still a day of work like any other and we need to do our duties to the clan." Coalstar announced to the fearful cats. "Has anyone seen Harrierheart? If he doesn't wake up soon, I'll organize patrols myself." He assumed an authoritative pose, looking to each clanmate in turn.

She continued to sob. How could everyone not understand how painful this was for her? Not only did she lose her mother and father, but now she lost not one, but BOTH of her siblings. All she had left was Duskstrike….

The tom stepped back as the she-cat continued to sob at her siblings bodies. Her parents and now her siblings.. He backed up, turning to Coalstar as he spoke. He seemed to deflate but he nodded his head. "Yes, Coalstar." No one had seen anything, it was hopeless. Now his apprentice was dead, and so was her sister. "No, I haven't seen Harrierheart." he replied, turning to his clanmates with his head tilted.

"i haven't seen harrierheart either, coalstar." the longhair said with a soft mew, sitting down and curling her tail over her dainty white paws, shoulders slumped and head held down in grief. she'd really started to enjoy lavenderscent's company, and rosepaw had been absolutely adorable. kaisley especially felt so sad for rosepaw - a flower plucked far too soon. both she-cats had lives ahead of them, and it made kaisley so depressed to think about it. if only starclan could bring them back for skyheart. we didn't even get the chance to say goodbye...

suddenly lifting her head again, there was a glint in kaisley's eyes. this had to have been the dark forest. only they could have done something so cruel. and since they're dead, they could get away with this. frowning, kaisley stood up and padded over to skyheart. "would you like for us to leave you alone to mourn?"
