Skye really would have liked to go back home right about now. She could put her wing-hiding spell back on, go back to Canterlot and continue her studies and music-composition. But instead, she was sent out here for a -vacation-?!
Pfft. Skye didn't need a vacation. She didn't want to meet new ponies, she didn't want to "lighten up", she just wanted to continue what she was doing before. Was that so much to ask?

Vixen sighed when she couldnt find soona and sat down, rosefur jumped off her back and looked up at vixen and meowed. Tears fell from vixen's face.

The nervousness that Skye had been attempting to put up with just doubled by 10. He was the -brother of the royal pony sisters?! Sure, Skyedreamer had been raised in a high-class environment (her parents being members of the court) but she had never actually been around -royalty-..
And he knew her secret too! Yikes. Skye had grown up hiding her identity. Her parents had raised her that way; by the way they acted it could have been illegal to be an Alicorn unless you one of the royals..
Even with her etiquette lessons, Skye was at a loss. Should she bow? Wait, if he was the Sister's brother, did that make him a god, like how the princesses were goddesses? He didn't say. EEP!

Storm smiled. "Would you liketo come to my cottage and have some hot cocoa?" His eyes where sparkling. I quite like this mare. I wonder why she is hiding her alicorn-ness?

Nightsong walked into the library looking for a book on Nightmare moon.

Skye smiled shyly. She had been feeling a bit overwhelmed at what had happened lately. It would be nice to get out of the after-rain puddles and mud..
And she did like hot cocoa..

Storm smiled warmly. "Come on, follow me." He led her to his cottage on the edge of town. He opened the door for her. "Here we are!"

Skyedreamer meekly followed Storm. She couldn't help but wonder if she should have shown more formality to him. She hadn't heard of any other alicorns existing, save the two princesses. Did that make all alicorns royalty, or were just some of them royals? Skye was getting a headache just pondering about it.
She bashfully stepped inside, giving an admiring glance around.
"You have a nice home." She softly complimented.
