"Ok." Shadedpaw meowed, and he got to is paws before walking towards the entrance.

Snow stood up and nodded. "So the kittypets are right." She spat at him and started walking away. She didn't know what made her say it but she did. All the kittypets said the would not give anything o outsiders unless they begged for help.

Fawnpaw followed Shadedpaw, whisker touching as she raised her muzzle, taking in the scents. "I bet I can catch more prey than you" She softly challenged, ears perked for any sign of rustling. Er optics scanned the area, focusing on each shrub.

"Lies!" Shadedpaw growled playfully,"I bet not!"

"Is this a challenge I hear? You are on" She grinned, flicking his shoulder woth her tail tip before slinking into the undergrowth. Her senses were high on alert for any sign of prey, as she stalked around.

Shadedpaw grinned as he slid is own way. His tail flicked as he searched for prey. Soon he found a blackbird. It pecked at a nut on the ground. The tom crept forward, and at the last second, pounced.

Fawnpaw slithered around, her paw steps barely audible. He ears perked forward at the sound of rustling, and looked to see a grey squirrel at the base of a tree. She silently crept forward, until the squirrel perked up in alarm. It began to flee up the tree, bit before it got the chance to run away, quick as a bird, Fawnpaw's claws flashed forward, and slammed down onto the squirrel. The feline watched it drop to the forest floor, and satisfaction burned inside.

Soon, Shadedpaw had caught a mouse and thrush to add to his blackbird. He sat down to take a break before he'd go and hunt some more.

Fawnpaw continued on, catching a vole. She wasn't the best hunting, but would try hard to beat Shadedpaw. Determined, she trekked through the forest, hoping to catch atleast one more piece of prey.

Shadedpaw decided to scout out for one last piece. It would be dark soon. He soon sniffed at the edge of a rabbits den. The scent made his mouth water, and his eyes round hungrily. Unaware, he plunged down the hole.
