A TERRIFIED WAIL PIERCED THE AIR. "HELP ME! HELP ME!" SHE THRASED AROUND, TRYING DESPERATELY TO ESCAPE THE INVISIBLE WEIGHT THAT WAS DROWNING HER IN THE RIVER. "PLEASE! PLEASE!" HER BEGGING WAS MUFFLED BY THE WATER THAT WAS FORCING ITSELF DOWN HER THROAT EVERYTIME SHE TRIED TO CALL FOR HELP. HER SCARED BLUE EYES FLASHED WITH FEAR AS FOR A BRIEF INSTANT THE MOST HATING CRUEL EYES YOU EVER SAW GLARED DOWN AT HER, CHILLING COLDNESS IN THE EYES. THAT'S WHEN SHE UNDERSTOOD THAT THIS WAS IT. UNWILLING TO GIVE UP HOPE, SHE THRASHED AROUND MORE, BUT THE WEIGHT INCREASED. A STARCLAN WARRIOR APPEARED BY HER SIDE, SORROW IN THE DEAD CAT'S EYES, WHO JUST SADLY SHOOK HER EYES. AS THE PAIN OVERTOOK HER, SHE WENT LIMP, AND FLOATED DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE DEEP, UNFORGIVING RIVER.

Icepelt drozed off to sleep. In her dream, she smelt fear and blood; and the wail of a tortured cat. A voice came to her. "One must die from each clan. Before they have died, the clans will suffer...."
Icepelt woke up with a jolt. She scrambled for Ironstar's den, hoping that he was there. She had to tell him her prophecy.
