A few minutes after Littlekit had scattered, she saw the two kittypets coming back. "Where is he?" she snarled.

Brokenwillow's words echoed in his head ever though he was awake. He screamed, disturbing birds around him. He knew that, in reality, he was their leader. And one day he would prove it, and in the future Burningstar would prove them all wrong. Until then, he had to call down. He had lost his closest friend, his newest apprentice, and a cat he might have loved. He began to cry, glad he was the only one around to hear it.

" We didnt take him if thats what youre asking, clan cat. We were checking if you were still here. Tell your leader he's dead to you, he doesnt want to come home. " Silverkit growled, he felt terrified to be near these large cats, but he had to try, Littlekit seemed so distressed around them.

She found herself purring. She nodded. But her mind screamed 'NO DONT GO PLEASE' she felt guilty for wanting an apperntice to confide in.

She wanted to tear something up and apologize at the same time. She curled up into a ball near a tree and started to sob, she wanted to wake up desperately but it wasn't working. She clawed roughly at her ears and took out all her anger on herself.

Ghostpaw was falling.
Falling into a deep hole that never seemed to end.
"HELP ME! MOM, BURNINGLEAF!"
But no one came.
And he kept on falling.
Into a hole of darkness, hearing voices all around him.
"YOU MONSTER! YOU KILLED HER!
"Please, no! No!"
Ghostpaw was sobbing as he finally hit the ground.

She sensed that Deermeadow didn't want to be alone, so she sat down by the cat.

Shaking her head, she pushed past the kittypet. "Littlekit!" she yowled. "Lilywhisker and Wolfstar miss you dearly! We all do!"

In between sobs, he hear another cat crying. He looked down and saw that Rowanscar was curled up underneath his tree, most likely unknowingly. He slowly climbed down until he was just a branch above her, being silent.
