"Yeah, Ashstar wasn't thinking it through," Heathersmoke meowed, looking around to make sure nobody was listening. "Doesn't he trust us enough to make our own choices? This is a huge form of disrespect," She added with a lash of her tail. "I doubt his warriors will keep it this way for long though. A change will be made soon."

Feeling restless, Dappledheart padded out of the medicine den with her head held high despite her small limp. She glanced around the camp as if some cat were about to challenge her. She didn't want to take a break, but she knew that she may have to if she wanted to raise her kits. She glanced towards the entrance of camp, waiting for Ashstar to return. Hopefully I can tell him before anyone else does, she thought, moving her fluffy tail over her belly. Being undersized, it would be very noticeable that she was carrying kits soon. She was just thankful that she could find out before anyone else noticed.

Hazelmoon felt calm again with Shadowstep supporting her. She scanned the camp with her eyes and realized that she had no clue where Ravenpaw was. Ravenpaw must be around here somewhere, she thought before looking into the apprentices' den. Ravenpaw's scent was stale and she couldn't seem to find him anywhere. She padded back to Shadowstep, looking confused. "I think the first thing I need to work on is keeping an eye on my apprentice," She meowed, unsure of what to do. "Maybe we could go hunting by ourselves and I can take Ravenpaw out another time?"

Lionfang looked over at Spiritwhisker and tilted his head. He hadn't noticed before, but she seemed to be getting thin despite the prey being plentiful. Is she okay? he wondered. Lionfang shook out his pelt before hesitantly walking over to his mate. He didn't want to bother Spiritwhisker, but he wanted to spend time with her. He walked up and dipped his head. "You did a wonderful job leading the patrol today," He meowed enthusiastically before glancing at the prey pile. "I was wondering if you would like to eat with me. You don't have to if you don't like to, but I would like to get to know you a bit better and I was hoping we could talk," He asked. He waited for a response, hoping he wasn't making her anxious. She had looked anxious on the patrol earlier, so he was hoping that he could eventually help her.
