Roseheart glanced at her paws. "I uhh...I just wanted to be sure that...you know...I didn't get infected!" she stuttered, hoping to hide her feelings.

Tigerheather wasn't convinced "No, the real reason." he said firmly, bright green eyes peering into her soul.

Roseheart sat down, her eyes drifting to Tigerheather's face. "I'm a bad cat. But I can't help it! I...I like you as more than a friend." she whispered sadly. "But of course, I will find someone else...maybe. I just can't like you! You're a medicine cat and I'm a warrior! It's different worlds. That's all." she said her silky fur flattened shamefully.

Tigerheather sighed, his heart logged to be with her. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes for guidance. He was astonished for him to hear Starclan saying he should follow his heart. He steop-ed forward "They don't have to know." he whispered.

She ran to her and stepped in the trap with is yowl in pain the rest of her clan mates went to help but they got caught to "MEWWWWROOOOO!" she woke up with a jolt.

"I'd guess not very long," Silverwater meowed to Bramblestrike. "The flood waters are already receding."

"I'll get you something from our make-shift pile and then we can hunt," Splashingriver suggested. He walked over and picked up a cactus woodpecker and brought it back.

Echostar nodded gratefully. "Would you like to share?" she asked, her eyes gleaming with pride.

Roseheart's eyes widened, astonished. Her heart screamed at her Yes! Yes! Yeeessss! YES! but her mind shrieked at her not to. Her paws kneaded the ground. She couldn't. Not now. He was a Medicine Cat. She was a warrior. It couldn't be...could it? "I...I couldn't...I'm a Warrior..." she said, not meeting his eyes. She realized that all she wanted was him.
