Mezzanotte looked startled. He tossed back his head, twisting to see what had disturbed his lazy solace. Upon turning he found a stallion behind him. He lowered his head at the snort and then stood straight. "Hello" he said carefully, "My name?" He echoed, not out of confusion or surprise, but simply to decide if he wished to share his name. "I am Mezzanotte" he said in a deep rumbling voice "And who" he said "Might you be?" He asked, looking the stallion up and down through guarded eyes.

Badger let a simple smile cross his face as the stallion questioned him. "My name is Badger. It is a pleasure to meet you Mezzanotte." he said in a calm but stern voice in a simple response to what the other stallion had asked. He pawed at the ground some, leaving what appeared to be a hole in the ground, eyes locked with the stallion he had just met.

Mezzanotte let a small chuckle escape him. "Why, the pleasure is mine" he said with a polite return. He watched Badger paw the ground and not to be outdone, pawed his own hoof against the ground. He left a shallow scoop in the ground, not the depth of Badgers dent in the ground. He looked up with his silver eyes to meet the gaze of Badger. He met his gaze steadily with a promise of a burning challenge. Snorting, he danced on his hooves, "So" he asked, in a calm and almost friendly tone "what beings you this side of the bayou?" He asked.

Badger watched as the stallion also pawed at the ground, he looked at him unamused. He shifted his weight to release one of his hind hooves, his green eyes seemed to some what burn while he held the silver gaze of Mezzanotte. Then tossing his head back to remove some of his mane from his face he spoke, "Just getting a feel of the area is all." He said with a snort to follow his answer. "What are you doing around these parts." He asked in a simple tone.

she looked at him funny, then looked down on the ground "well theres a saying that the best grass grows under a willow tree, and i happen to agree" she smiled and leaned down, eating some more grass.

He smiled and nodded with a small laught.
"Yeah, sure" he tasted the grass and took some steps closer, feeling comfortable with her.
He made an acted pleasured noise while he eated. "mmhh.. really good" he said with a mounthful of grass and chewed loudly on purpose.

Dream giggled, "your weird" she said smiling "but i good weird" a leaf fell on her head and she shook it off.
