Veiled by a Song: PM to Join (Fox RP)

"That's good." Shiko nodded, "Come to me if anything bothers you." she said and began to pad to the alchemist's den, her herbs hanging in her jaws. "Come along, Wisp." she said as she entered her den.

Ryuu sat in Soul's den for a while, rubbing the tears and sadness away from his face. He didn't respond to Soul, he just sighed. He exited the den, his same, proud, hard expression on his face. Stalking over to the alchemist's den, he peered at Shiko and Wisp. "Shiko..." all he had to do was hold out his paw and Shiko knew what to do.

Soul saw Ryuu's bloody, beaten paw and he sighed inwardly. "Shiko," he said quietly, "When you're done, please meet me by the camp entrance closest to the nursery. I'm going to talk to Copper and I'd prefer to have you by my side." The leader didn't wait for a response as he padded over to where he told her to meet. He flicked his tail towards Copper and the apprentice came running, a strange gleam in his eyes. As the two foxes sat and waited, Soul told Copper, "I have something important to tell you, Shiko will be joining us." The leader didn't say anything else, and the apprentice was unusually quiet.

Wisp followed Shiko happily, and watched intensely as she took care of Ryuu's paw. "Ryuu, what'd you do to your paw?" Wisp asked innocently. When Soul came in and asked Shiko to join him, Wisp sighed. Learning would have to wait until they were done. Jeez, Soul's always so busy. I wonder if he ever has time to himself. Plus, he always drags Shiko with him! I'll never get to learn anything if they yammer and fuss all day. She made herself relax, there was no use in complaining, that would not help her case with Shiko.

A dark look passed over Shiko's face as she narrowed her eyes at Ryuu. It quickly faded as Soul asked her to meet him. "Okay." she nodded to Soul. Quickly, she whisked into the herb store and threw a bunch of herbs in front of Wisp. "Look, this is a special type of wound. You still use a daisy petal and mint poultice on it, but you have to wrap his paws with reeds and pine bark. Make sure it's snug, but not cutting off his blood circulation. He has to wear them for a day or two. Do your best." she lightly touched her nose to her apprentice's cheek and hurried after Soul, surprised as she saw Copper with him. "What?" she asked, her expression dark.

Ryuu sat down, looking down at the young apprentice with narrowed eyes. He held out one of his large paws, his bloody, beat up pads upturned to the apprentice.

Oh no... I hope I can do this. What had Shiko said? Reeds and bark? Wisp picked up the daisy and mint poultice and methodically spread it onto Ryuu's paw. "What happened to your paw Ryuu?" She asked again as she placed a piece of bark on his paw to keep it stiff and wrapped the reeds around it tightly. "Is that too tight?" She asked, nervous about the responsibility Shiko had left her.

Phantom plodded over to Raven and Apollo with a slight smile. He plopped his bottom down right next to them, waiting for the others. "Where's Flare?" He asked the two, glancing around to look for the fox. Phantom stopped glancing around and kept his head still, blinking.

"I saw Bluebell take Flare into there," Apollo replied, nodding his head towards the Warriors den. "I think she had to talk to him about something - I'm really not sure. Hopefully they won't take too long because the leash needs to be fed!" His point was made clearer by the growling of his stomach.

"Nothing." Ryuu grunted, looking away from the apprentice. "Running too much, I guess." He swished his tail, "That's fine, it's not too tight." he assured her, holding out his other paw for her to work on.

Flare slowly followed Blubell into the Den. Spinning his head around he looked outside to see if anyone had seen him but he didn't think so. Then Blubell blurted out the scariest thing the young apprentice had ever heard in his life. Flare's jaw dropped and a tear fell down his cheek "I..." was all he could muster. Slowly he walked out of the den his ears and tail drooping. What had his brother done??

Jingle looked at Raven again and asked "When are we going??" She was a very impatient fox,and never liked waiting long. Not waiting for a reply she walked to the entrance to the camp and sat down beside it waitng for the group to come.

Phantom thumped his front left paw on the ground, sighing intently. He was getting tried to waiting for Flare, but didn't trot to the camp entrance. "Flare! We're waiting!" He called out, wherever he was he hoped his call would fly up his ears soon.
