FeatherKit climbed up the tree. Using her tail as a balance. She sat on the branch. "Now, that's cool." she said looking inside their Camp.

Lostclaw saw the moving figure of the Vole and she slowly creeped towards it. She jumped and hit the vole with her paw before it could escape, killing it. She picked it up and brought it back to them.

IcePaw smiled. "why don't we hunt and bring back prey!" she said turning around, to face them.

"Okay." Darkpaw meowed. He was anxious to get home but food did sound good. "I'm going that way." he meowed walking towards the densest part of the forest.

Frostkit smiled when she saw the nursery. "They have kits like us!" Frostkit smiled looking down at two kits playing while their mother and father sat close by purring. "And look there's the elders den!" She pointed with her paw at an old cat telling a story to three young apprentices. Jaggedkit's eyes narrowed glaring down at them. "What are you so excited about? They're are enemies. We're going to have to kill them later."

"Nice Catch!" Emberfang smiled looking down at the vole. He licked his lips hungrily.

FeatherKit smiled. "yeah, but it would be fun to play with them." she said.

Lostclaw smiled. "thanks." she said, setting down the Vole.

IcePaw, with out another word, bounded off towards a small open area. Soulfire stayed with Fang. Shadow, Blade, and stone bounded off back the way they came.

Darkpaw opened his mouth and instantly smelled different creatures running around. He first caught a robin, and then a ground squirrel. He smiled happily picking up his prey and going back the way he came.

"That tan one looks cute." Frostkit meowed looking down at the kits. "Their growing fat off our prey!" spat Jaggedkit his normally spiky neck fur rose even higher.

"I think that's all we'll catch." meowed Windtalon walking back towards them. "I can't smell anything else." Emberflame nodded in agreement lets head back.

FeatherKit snorted. "so what? they've got a clan of their own to feed. And so do we. What's the difference?" she asked. Featherkit looked down she watched a dark brown kit playing with the tan one Frostkit had mentioned. "no way. That darker brown one is way cuter." she said, her tail flicking.

Lostclaw nodded. "yeah." she said. " I wish there was more prey. one small vole like this certainly wont feed an entire clan." she said, picking up the kill.

Icepaw smiled, she had successfully caught a Robin and a small mouse. She picked them up, and with effort, carried them back to the others. Shadow carried two voles, Stone carried to robins, and Blade was carrying/dragging a rabbit. They met up with Icepaw and followed her back to the others.

Darkpaw looked around impressed by all the prey they had brought in. They certainly wouldn't be able to eat it all. It seemed such a shame to waste it.

"Did you see their fresh-kill pile?" hissed Jaggedkit. He pointed with his tail towards the pile it was stacked high and tall. Many of the cats looked well feed and a few even heavy. "And were starving to death! And the still stole more of our territory!" Frostkit's belly rumbled. She looked down longingly at the pile. "Yea, I guess your right." Suddenly Jaggedkit stiffened. A big multicolored cat appeared out of a den. "That has to be Nightstar!" As he spoke Nightstar called a few cats and they followed him into his den. "They must be making battle plans!" Jaggedkit whispered excited. "You two stay here and look out and I'll go spy." He started to climb down but looked up as sharp little claws pricked his paw. "Jaggedkit don't leave us!" Frostkit meowed her blue eyes filled with worry. Jaggedkit ripped his paw away from her. "I'm coming back later." he meowed angrily. He started backing down the tree again.

"At least the kits and Rosepetal have eaten today, and I think Scarflights had something. They rest of us can share." Windtalon meowed only half hopeful. He knew for sure that one vole was barely even going to make a dent in the stomach pains they all had. "I'll be fine." Emberfang meowed. "You too share with Leafstar, I ate yesterday."
