Hickorygaze nodded, walking to the center where he met Frost. His eyes were narrow, his claws were out, and his teeth were bared. This training seems, different, than how we used to do it... He let himself go low to the ground, waiting for Nightshade's approval to start.

This should be interesting... she thought with satisfaction in her gaze. Padding in between them, she raised her tail, and waited a moment before waving it down. "Fight fair. No claws for now.." she ordered, then stepped back to watch.

Frost crouched with ease pulsing through her. A heart beat passed between them as she met Hickorygaze's eyes evenly; her ears already roaring with blood. Forcing her muscles to relax, she allowed her appearance to seem smaller and more hesitant than usual. Then, Nightshade yowled "Fight!". Instantly, Frost dashed over to Hickorygaze; her eyes glittering with satisfaction as she lightly landed on his back as if he were a piece of prey. He wasn't expecting her to be so fast, was he? Frost had been waiting for this opportunity for what seemed like seasons. Her toleration for his arrogance was through; but in a way, she had to admit, that Hickorygaze was changing..

Blizzardstar padded out from behind Lynxclaw; his ears pricked with narrowed eyes. "Lynxclaw," he grunted. "What is going on here? I thought we were supposed to be hunting. Not conversing with a petty apprentice."

He dipped his head in respect. "I caught this Shadowclan apprentice on our side of the border, Blizzardstar. "I was trying to get her to leave, but she called me fishbreath and insulted our clan, as well as refusing to get off our territory."

Blizzardstar nodded in understanding; his eyes clam but a hint of fury showed in his intelligent, ocean blue eyes. "Did she now? Well, I don't see another option if she won't leave, but to embarrass her clan in turn if she refuses to leave.." a sly expression took hold of Blizzardstar's face; a sudden playfulness seemed to take place with a mix of mischief in the center of his growing sceme.
