Junerain blinked and chuckled purring softly, "I guess your nose is better then anyone else's here in camp" he said purring still and licked her between the ears softly.

"makes sense actually" he said considering the thought. If you really had a lack on some sense probably other would be better in order to keep a balance and try to make sure one survives. He chuckled softly watching her, "you tired?" he asked giving his chest a lick.

Junerain chuckled softly and smiled, "and you're going to sleep outside here?" he teased slightly poking her shoulder a bit.

Junerain rolled his eyes sighing softly, "Hum... nope" he said and poked her shoulder again, "I'm determined not to let you sleep... just because you woke me up that other day" he purred somewhat playfully.

He trotted away from the training place. He sighed and stared to gallop away. He slowly stoped has he got to the border.

Junerain blinked, "oh you got me" he chuckled purring still and flicked his ears as he tried jumping and tackling her instead.

Nightshade continued on the patrol, Fernfur, Featherpaw, Nightsky and Rabbitleap behind him. It was just after dawn - and they were on the patrol. Emerald eyes scanning, broad shoulders working elegantly, he stopped to mark the territory at the border line. Clearing his throat, his mind seemed to always wander back to his kits now. And he couldn't help it. Throwing his head back, he blinked and watched the patrol catch up. "Fernfur, test Featherpaw on her scenting skills." He instructed - the she-cat always seemed to be in some kind of daze.

Featherpaw listened to Nightshade's words and before Fernfur could even react to them her jaws snapped open and she let the scents around her waft upon her scent glands. Eyes narrowing, she tried to remember scents from when she was that strong-willed kit that Nightshade had found near camp. One famililar scent came across her, and it struck alarm, however she couldn't pin point exactly what it was. Perhaps one of the other warriors would scent it and know.

Fawnkit let out a squeal of disapproval when her mother got up and out of the den. She blinked hazel eyes and looked around worridly. She noticed Nettlekit and bounced over to her, slighly scared by the lack of her mother at her side. "Where she goin?" She asked in a small, tiny, shy voice.

Ashcloud shrugged. "Dear, come back," mewed the British she-cat, curling her tail around Fawnkit and dragging her back. She wiggled slightly.

Fernfur nodded towards Nightshade and gazed at Featherpaw. "What do you smell?"

The black tom caught up to the patrol, ears flicking as he glanced around yawning softly. It was true that he was there standing, walking and all but he was still 'asleep' in a way. When they stopped for the rest of the patrol to catch up he stretched his paws and shook his head yawning more, "ugh..." he sat down watching Featherkit... 'No....Feather paw' he forced himself to remember and smiled slightly, he then glanced around frowning softly, "ever had the impression of being observed?" he asked.
