Snowhare cleared her throat. Now this one looked promising. "You are going to need to learn how to fight to protect your Clan. I assume you're up to the challenge?" Challenging this kit would be the easiest way to manipulate her, she assumed, while her brother would be harder.

"Oh, that's Stripestar now." Rustpaw gathered under the high-peek along with Dewkit, who sat under it with a blank expression.

Leopardstripe felt a longing in his heart. Almost all the cats were having kits or have mates. He was just crushing on a fantasy.

Cloudgaze hung her head, too lazy at the moment to bother with making it look like she was looking up at Stripestar. She simply listened to the murmuring of her clan mates as they gathered around for the meeting.

Mousekit's ears flattened against his head as he heard what Snowhare was saying to his sibling. He didn't want to fight and he was only a kit! How could he possibly protect the clan?

"Yes!" Icekit squeaked while nodding her head vigorously to show that she was prepared to do whatever it took to help the clan.

Goldenstripe ushered her four kits out of the nursery, tripping over her own paws as the little ones rushed around excitedly. "Now, Robinkit, get off of your sister-" Goldenstripe groaned in exasperation.

"We should attend the meeting." Mistyclaw nodded, her eyes narrowed.
