Pikeflower was a bit surprised by Mistyclaw's suddenly affectionate mood. "Uh, hey." He greeted her with a half-smile.

"I suppose it couldn't hurt to attend the meeting." Cloudgaze said with a soft sigh. She was feeling a bit antsy and to spend some time around her clan mates might do her some good. Hopefully the kits would simply sleep through the meeting.

Icekit's pleasant dream was interrupted by a sudden shift of scenery just before a she-cat came approaching her from the darkness. She took no notice of Mousekit who was standing just behind her and instead focused her full attention to the stranger. "Who are you?" She asked in an almost demanding fashion.

"I have very good news." Mistyclaw muzzled her mate.

Stripestar stood up as he held his tail out to her.

"I am Snowhare, a StarClan cat." She meowed softly. "You are an important kit to us, and I have come to train you and your brother." She gestured to Mousekit.

"Hmm?" Pikeflower waited for his mate to go on. He assumed it would be something small. Perhaps she had caught the most prey the clan had seen since the start of leaf-bare. Sure, it was technically new-leaf now but it was only the beginning and still felt like leaf-bare to him.

Cloudgaze followed Stripestar out of the den and into the clearing. She sat down near the base of the high rock(?) so that she could hear her mate well but not too close since that was rightfully the deputy's position.

Icekit finally noticed her littermate when Snowhare mentioned him, even though it wasn't by name. "Why him? He's a wimp!" The kit meowed before sticking her tongue out at the tomkit. Mousekit didn't even try to argue against the accusation.

Stripestar jumps up onto High peek as he looks down at her and mews. "Come on up here"

"He was the one that we decided on." Snowhare meowed, her patience growing thin. She hated kits, but oh were they fun to manipulate. So innocent they wouldn't guess a thing.

"I'm going to have kits." She purred, a wide grin crossing her face.

"Oh." Pikeflower said without registering what she said at first. Suddenly, as the realization hit him, his eyes went wide and he said with much more enthusiasm, "Oh! Kits! Thats wonderful." Pikeflower still had his worries and fears about Mistyclaw having kits but he was also overjoyed at the idea of being a father again.

Cloudgaze shook her head. High peek was reserved for the leader and sometimes deputy to make announcements from, not for every cat to just climb up on. Plus, being blind, she wasn't comfortable with jumping up or climbing on anything.

Icekit huffed softly. She wanted to believe she was special since StarClan chose her to train but if Mousekit was here also then just about any kit could be 'special'. She looked at Snowhare with expectantly wide blue eyes as she waited for her to tell her to do something.
