The pale gray and white tabby she-cat walked a bit closer to Fox and Eagle. "I believe you, but if I come back and Fox has one scratch on him, you're dead."

xxxxxxxher grey fur shimmered in the light as she turned her head. she was not going to stand by and let shadow be taken away. there was no way. she was ready to fight back for what she wanted.

"raven, have you gone mad? you aren't the lieutenant, light is. he's going to be the next leader. well... after shadow that is." she said, her eyes looking down sadly. she took it in that raven was sucking up to tempest though and it was bothering her immensely.

Crow was utterly silent as she carefully considered both Tempest's and Light's words. As much as she felt compelled to follow her leader, she couldn't imagine leaving, dignity or not. Though dignity was immensely important to Crow, she knew that it was greedy to only think about herself. Crow lashed her tail in frustration, there were so many unanswered questions, and this was going to be added to the bundle. Crow let out a dismal sigh, thinking back to her little speech, We will prevail. she had said. Crow bit her lip as she made her decision. Crow seated down after Tempest. "Okay." Crow paused, "Tempest, you will be returning, I can give you my word on that." she had said, though she was hoping that she was right. "But you won't be returning with me, you'll be returning to me." Crow paused once again, as if planning her words carefully, ''Light, I'd be proud to be your apprentice. And as of my knowledge, I know that my dignity means nothing when there are bigger wars going on." Crow glanced back up at Tempest, "I shouldn't be talking about my dignity, you have lost yours for unjust reasons, and we will get it back, no matter what it takes." Crow gave a small purr, "You're the best leader I could ever ask for, so I'm not going to let you stay away. That mangy furball could never replace you as leader." Crow turned back and batted at Light's shoulder, "I'm looking forward to being a pain in the tail for you!"

Light beamed brightly at Crow's speech, giving a nod to show his agreement to her words. They would get Tempest back, and not a hair of his dignity would be lost! He was also excited to have an apprentice, as well. It had been many moons since he had trained up an apprentice, and he could already tell Crow would be incredibly beneficial to the investigation as a whole. Giving a light laugh, he nudged Crow in return, "I look forward to it,"

Crow gave a light purr at the thought. They would get Tempest back, she had to make sure of that. With Light as a mentor; that would help greatly. She was never really appointed a mentor, she was just trained by the odd Sailors that felt up to it. She felt that she would be able to have a better chance of being a better apprentice if the training was more personal. The small she-cat had always wanted to be a sailor, and it would only be a few moons until she was made into one. Crow had always tried to be on the sailors' good side, though sometimes it would be hard because of her off-and-on grouchy, sarcastic moods. Crow really did try, but she couldn't help it. Not long ago she was talking about each cat's nature, and that happened to be part of hers. Crow felt at peace now that she could be more involved in helping prove Tempest's innocence, especially with the help of a mentor.

"Than we already have a plan in action!" Light beamed, hoping to give the whole team a bit of hope for the upcoming days. Tempest would need all the strength he could get, both physically and mentally. Upon reaching the Isle, however, even Light paled. It was truly a place of punishment, and he prayed that they would get their leader back quickly.

Crow gave a brisk nod to Light, she couldn't handle giving any more of a reaction than that as they reached the isle. Crow glanced over at tempest, her eyes full of grief and sympathy. This place was truly horrible. The dark grey she-cat shuddered at the thought of having to live there alone. They would get Tempest back. Crow had to keep silently repeating this to herself.
