"He's killed enough things, just like me." said Ali. "But, you helped. I consider that saving my life."

"Well then, I guess I did," Shandra admitted sheepishly, before nuzzling Ali.

Ali smiled. "Ah. What was that?" he asked.

"Save your life," Shandra giggled. She licked Ali's cheek again, enjoying being with him.

"What? Is it wrong to thank you?" joked Ali. Then he sat up. "What is that?" he said again, feeling his chest with his paw.

"No its not wrong," Shandra said before Ali sat up. When he sat up she looked up at him worriedly and sat up to. "What is what?" she asked worriedly.

"I don't know. Thats why I'm asking. Its just a sharp pain." Ali looked to Shandra. "I probably got up too quick."

"I hope that's all it is," Shandra said worriedly, remembering that Ali said he was dying.

Ali suddenly changed his expression. "No." he said. He looked away from Shandra. "It's too early. Please no." Ali flinched as the pain swept through him once again.
