Russetleap purred, and leapt to her paws, bounding straight after him, "You're lucky I'm going easy on you!" She retorted playfully, easily matching his stride.

Yuccapaw sighed and nodded, following Greypaw from a distance, not wanting to anger him.

Cardinalswipe rolled his eyes, "Of course they smelt of blood! Blood scent reeks for fox lengths! Did you see the fur under their claws? Maybe they were trying to bury him."

Greypaw's shoulders slump, his paws dragging in the dust.

Cricketpaw growled. "I watched them kill him!"

Yuccapaw sighed, knowing that she would have to push her own grief away. She padded by Greypaw's sighed, pushing her pelt against his in comfort. "We'll see them again," She whispered, trying to comfort him as best she could, "Don't worry."


"Don't lie to me!" Cardinalswipe growled, getting to his paws, "I can see it in your eyes!"

"What a brother you are." Cricketpaw growled. "Your acting like we arnt brothers. Brothers believe ecth other. if thats what you want then bye." Cricketpaw meowed, standling up and darting out of camp.

Cardinalswipe growled as he left. Cricketpaw was right, but that didn't make him believe him any more. With a hiss, Cardinalswip rolled his eyes and bounded out after him, matching his pace, "Just because I'm coming with you," He growled, "Doesn't mean I believe you."

"I doubt it. Darkstar already hates me for bragging about how I did in training or how much prey I caught." Greypaw sighs.

"thought you where staying in camp.." Cricketpaw meowed, keeping his eyes forwards.

Yuccapaw shook her head quickly, watching him with the kindness of a queen, "He may not of liked it, since he has more important things to do as leader, but that doesn't mean he hates you."

Cardinalswipe rolled his eyes, "If these cats really did kill the rogue, which I'm not saying the did, but if so, I can't let you face them alone. What kind of brother would I be, then?"
