Duskpaw tilted his head curiously now that he captured the cat who spoke about him before. Since he figured out just then he was touch her he thought he might as well speak, and maybe freak her out his mind pondered with a grin inside his thoughts. Blinking he looked down at her and answered her last question with a calm voice that didn't at all move his mouth. "It was slashed a month ago. List my voice forever, but gained the power to speak to someone by my mind when I touch them," he thought with his tail flicking behide him. As his conversation began in his head he knew it must seem werid to the other cats who only saw Duskpaw standing on the ca,t and staring down with his iced blue gaze. "Also, tell your friends to not attack. I won't hurt you just got angry for a moment. Sorry," he thought to her with a tiny smile on his face.

Viperpaw's golden eyes widened in surprise as she heard a voice in her head. And then looking up she realized it was his. Either that or she was going crazy. She was going with the former here, but from what he was saying apparently that was not the case. Still though she wanted him to get off. Wondering if this went both ways or not, and hoping to Starclan it didn't, Viperpaw let a thought slip away at the same time she'd began talking to him quietly. Her friends wouldn't be able to hear or even now she was speaking at all at this angle.

" Oh it's quite alright," She grumbled sarcastically, once she'd managed to process that she was indeed not crazy. "Next time you want to tell me something though, a tap on the tail would be nice," she managed to mutter and she pushed his chest with a paw, making sure not to touch his neck. "Now then mind getting off me for a moment so I can at least appease my friends." Without waiting for an answer, after all she didn't have to listen to him anyhow, or his strange mind voice thing, in a louder voice she groaned and then rolled her eyes.

"Sheesh, if you wanted to practice battle moves all you had to do was ask. And yeah Lightpaw I'm fine and I'll be even better once this fur-ball gets off of me."

Lowering, and thinking the words she was saying to Duskpaw, Viperpaw gazed at him with expectant eyes. "Pretend you wanted to try out battle moves. That'll give them a view of your neck and will be a good excuse."

Lightpaw smiled, a little nervously. She was relieved that Viperpaw was alright, but she was still wary of the new cat. She realized the fur along her spine was sticking up, and she focused on relaxing and letting it lie flat.

Wolfpaw saw Viperpaw was ok, and slunk down in her fur.
'Fox brain!' She thought about herself. 'I look like a fox brained shy apprentice!' Wolfpaw looked away silently with a sigh, wrapping her tail around her paws tightly. She snuck a look to Lightpaw, mouthing,
'Sorry, again. You know me, I can't be social around others unless I know 'em.'

Duskpaw was quite confused of Viperpaw's words, but did understand that she wished him to get off of her, and as well showed his neck to the other cats. Turning he got off of Viperpaw before waving his tail at the two other cats watching him with cautious gazes. He wondered what he could do to get them to not be so untrusting, but he guessed it would take time. Smiling over at Lightpaw and Wolfpaw he mouthed a 'hello' with his lips. Not a sound came from Duskpaw besides a shift in his paws, or a small crushing of a leaf.

Viperpaw huffed lightly but got back to her paws and shook the dust out of her fur. Normally she'd complain but right now she just needed to think. Here she was in a temporary camp, with her friends and a tom who apparently can't talk, but has the power to talk through touch. Which is a bit unnerving if she thought about it too much, but thankfully Viperpaw didn't always analyze every little thing. "Nice seeing you girls again," Viperpaw mewed dryly.

"Anyhow his neck was slashed and was the reason why I was didn't move. He can't talk because of it, which was why he wasn't answering questions," She mewed before turning to Duskpaw with an unexplainable look in her golden gaze. She honestly wasn't sure what to think about this tom or if she could even trust him, but supposed the best way to start would be to at least give him a chance. After all wasn't she the one to say that they should try to get along with the other cats? This would probably be a good start. "Anyway I think his name is Duskpaw, or at least that's what he mouthed to me when he had me pinned. She told them. "Which I will get you for by the way," she muttered to him, and let his tail touch her side so he could 'talk'.

Wolfpaw politely dipped her head in greeting.
"H- Hi." Wolfpaw managed to mouth. She liked this way a lot better than talking; No wonder why he did it. Wolfpaw's corner of her mouth turned upwards into a small smile of liking.
'Maybe he's not that bad afterall; He has a good idea.' Wolfpaw thought.
'Wolfpaw.' She mouthed as well, after hearing Viperpaw's reply.

Duskpaw listened to Viperpaw's words once she talked about his neck, and his name to the other cats. Thinking to himself he knew it might best to get to know them better anyways. He did know some could trick him, but none seemed to wish doing so. So he thought why not? At the soft touch his eyes turned to look back and see Allowing his tail to touch get side so he could speak. He smiled and began to speak in a playful tone. "Haha I will be waiting for that. Seems to me I won't expect nothing less from a she-cat like you," he said with a grin. Then, seeing Wolfpaw mouth a hello and her name he gave a smile to her as well. 'Nice to meet you Wolfpaw,' he mouthed back.
