Veiled by a Song: PM to Join (Fox RP)

((Leaf Fall is still head over heels for Raven; he is just trying to pretend the feelings aren't there. XD))

Jupiter's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. "Ryuu left?" She asked, almost speechless. "He is the last fox I would guess to leave the leash. It must be an misunderstanding." Her eyes clouded with worry. "I am sure he will be back, though maybe sending Copper wasn't the best choice..." She trailed off, thinking of how Copper could act sometimes. He even made HER frustrated. She winced delicately.

Jakei's ears perked the tiniest bit. "Really?" He paused. "I am usually not a downer on things, but that doesn't sound good."

Leaf Fall nodded tightly. This worried him deeply. Was it possible a demon had possessed Ryuu? "What were they fighting about?" He asked Raven urgently.

(( Okay, I DEFINITELY posted earlier today, but for some reason, it's not here... D:))

Heron opened his eyes at the sound of some annoyingly bright voice and immediately shut them again. It's way too early and I am way too tired to deal with this.He thought as he moved slowly out into the clearing, not talking to anyone. He saw that Soul wanted to say something important so he sat himself down and waited for something to happen.

Wisp opened one bleary eye and saw that everyone else was out of the Apprentice's den, so she got up and went outside to see that Soul was about to make an announcement. To find out what was going on, she walked over to Yuri and started to ask "Yuri, what's going on?" But stopped when she saw that Yuri looked really upset. Gently, she implored: "Are you okay?"

"I know, it's crazy!" Raven said, looking at the three foxes. "I'm not sure what exactly they were fighting about but Ryuu was talking to Soul when he left... I don't know what he's going to do. I'm actually surprised he let Copper go at all..."

Soul looked down at the leash and waited for the side conversations to stop before assigning the patrols. There was the whole day ahead of them, and he'd let them chat for a bit before sending them out into the woods.

Copper stood up in the puddle and sighed. He had finally cleaned all the blood off of him and now he had ended up in a puddle. He shook himself and stood in the pace Ryuu had shown him. Chin up, and back straight he called out, "So that's why you ran out of camp? Because I was 'disrespecting' your family?" The apprentice put the final touches on and brought his lips up into a snarl as he waited for Ryuu's reply.

Ryuu didn't bother to answer Copper, "Consider yourself without a mentor." he growled as he passed by Copper. He began to stalk back to camp, quickly picking up pace as he went. Finally, he broke into a sprint and burst through the entrance to camp. His flanks heaved as he gasped for breath, shaking it off, he quietly sat down, his gaze focused on Soul; daring him to say something.

Yuri pricked his ears as Wisp approached him. He shook the gloomy expression off of his face, but it quickly fell when he heard Wisp's question. "Oh..." he began, he was a very honest fox who couldn't hide his feelings well. "I tried to play with Copper, but he just got angry." Yuri sighed, "He said bad things about all of the leash... including you..."

Bluebell answered, "I'll tell you in a moment, Flare. But first we should listen to the patrols." She turned away then to look up at Soul. She hoped it would be quick so she could tell Flare what she had to say.

"About me...?" Wisp asked quietly. What did I ever do to Copper?! "Will you tell me what he said after Soul speaks? I want to be focused while he's talking." Wisp didn't really want to wait to hear what Copper had said, but she knew she should, so she didn't say another word and instead, looked to Soul.

What's his problem? Copper sat and thought to himself before running after his mentor. "Ryuu! Wait!" Huffing and panting the apprentice sprinted all the way back, trying to catch up with his mentor. It was no use, Ryuu had too big a head start. Copper burst after Ryuu and skidded to a stop beside his mentor, breathing harshly in and out and realizing that they had just been about to interrupt Soul.

Raven settled down and put her tail over her paws as she looked up at Soul and waited for him to speak.

"Brothers and sisters," Soul began, looking down at the leash. "As many of you might have noticed, there were some issues this morning between myself, Ryuu, and Copper. However, things are in the process of being fixed," he looked especially hard at the two large, male foxes before continuing: "So there is nothing for you to worry about. Ryuu and Copper will actually be training all day today. The next group is Jakei, Yuri, Kikiara, and Sasha. They will go on patrol besides the waterfall to hunt and gather as much as they can. Jakei will be able to train Yuri and Sasha will be their warrior gaurd. Raven, Flare, Phantom, Apollo, and Jingle will be going towards the other side of the woods, besides all the blackbery bushes and they will also be doing as much as they can. Raven will be able to train Flare, and Apollo and Jingle can certainely help gather some berries and nuts even though they're warriors. Shiko, Wisp, Jupiter, and Bluebell will be staying in camp. If Shiko needs to go out for any reason, Jupiter will be able to accompany her. Leaf Fall, Heron, and myself will be going out to hunt and to explain the ways of the leash to our newcomer. We will all meet tonight around sunset to feast and celebrate the finding of the first key. Leave the camp together and stay together when you're out. These are difficult times, and we must be sure to remember that and not let our gaurd down regardless of the joys in finding the first key. Any questions before you go?"

((And now an obnoxiously long OOC post. PLEASE READ. Firstly, DO NO MAKE ANYTHING BAD HAPPEN WHEN YOU ARE ON PATROL. No wolves, no bears, no demon attacks, no NOTHING. This is a good time to make friends, train, and have some great character development as well as build up some relationships. Second, know that this "day" is going to be pretty long since there's so much dependency on each other to post. This is okay. Be courteous and wait for the others in your patrol before moving forward too far. PM each other if you need to figure things out, and be realistic about how much your fox can do. Also, warriors. You may gather, and dig and things of the like but you were not trained to run off after rabbits and squirrels. That is the hunters' job, let them do it. Which brings me to my next point: Foxes eat anything. I did a bit of research and make your foxes find other things other than birds and rabbits. On patrol you can find eggs, fruits, berries, mushrooms, ect. Those of you by the waterfall can also bring back dead fish along the shore, and even catch small crabs. Foxes will also dig for their food. So some of you can catch worms, beetles, and snails. Keep this in mind when you're out and again, NOTHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN. And please be nice about waiting for each other to post. Thanks, and sorry for this long novel))

Phantom's ears flicked slightly at the sound of Copper and Ryuu coming back to camp. What was going to happen now? He thought, but shuffled his bottom down to listen to Soul's speech. Phantom sighed at the part about Ryuu and Copper, and turned his head slightly to the other side of the woods when he heard who was going with who. He turned back to Soul to hear the rest. Phantom glanced at Flare, Raven, and Apollo just to take a look at who was he going with and to see what they were doing.
