Delilah yawned and left from the stone where she had been napping. Would anyone like to come hunting with me?

Wes couldn't stay in his den any longer. He trotted out and headed for the woods, he sniffed the air to find the scent of elks heavy in the air. Wes licked his lips, rushing to where the herd was. When he got there he saw other wolf chasing the weakest of the herd. Wes sat down to watch her progress.

Delilah sighed when she saw that she was ignored then set out for herself. She caught three rabbits quickly enough, one of which she ate and the other two she buried for later. I may as well walk the borders a bit. She noticed nothing out of the ordinary before she reached the far end of the territory. There she smelled an unfamiliar wolf, but even stranger, Karson's scent was intermingled with hers. It would have been easy to brush off if there had been signs of battle, but instead there were signs of play. Maybe I should follow. It was easy enough. Their paws left deep marks in the snow. She sniffed the air once more, then jogged off in the direction they had gone.

Kira snapped at the sick Elk's heels. She lunged up for the sick elk's rump, but she felt a sharp pain come down on her head. Then her back. Then suddenly all over her body. Kira didn't even have time to yelp before she was on the ground. What had happened? What was happening? What went wrong? Trampled. That's what happened, she hadn't noticed the elk's coming from behind. The sick elk had been trampled too. Kira lay on the ground, the stamped over now. Hoof prints danced on and around her pelt. This is why you're an omega She thought to herself. No one was even around to help. "How could I have been so stupid?" She scolded herself with a sigh. She looked around for help. "Help..." Her call was quiet and strangled, but she couldn't give up. She had everything to live for, and was still determined to earn a higher rank. "Help!" She called out louder

Wes watched as the wolf was trampled. He growled in shock and run to her, as he stood over the she-wolf he called out "can you hear me, I need to know." Wes run his nose thorugh her fur exmaining the wounds.

Kira looked up and nodded faintly "Yes". Her voice was a mere whisper. Even though she hurt all over, she smiled weakly. "Everything's going to be okay, right?" She asked the male that had just ran to her aid

Wes pulled back, "yes everything should be okay. You have some mild cuts but they'll heal." He looked her over again and asked "why were you trying that, it was stupid of you to come alone."

Kira's eyes flickered away from Wes. "They never let me do anything. I just wanted to try...please, please don't bite me" She tucked her tail. She looked back at Wes. Maybe he didn't know that she was an omega, or did he? She flattened her ears in submission and licked her nose. "I'm sorry"

Wes looked at her in confusion, why was she submitting to him? he wasn't the Apha. He licked her head "you don't have to be sorry, just don't try to go out again alone okay?"
