Fennix~

Fennix gritted her teeth. The little worm could scratch hard. It jumped out of the way after giving her a few cuts on her neck and muzzle, then started circling. Fennix was reminded of the way vultures circle in the air, looking for carrion. Then she thought of one her dinosaur friends back at the lab, a feathery Archaeopteryx. She grinned slightly, remembering the time he had bitten a scientist. Her chip urged her to get back to fighting the escaped dinosaur, but she ignored it. Fennix suddenly got tired of fighting with this dinosaur. Her chip sent her another command to kill it, but she shook it off as best she could again. "Have you ever bitten a scientist?" she asked, her tone curious instead of interrogating. "I had a friend that did once. I haven't though, my chip won't really let me." Fennix continued, somehow forgetting that a minute ago she was trying to kill the other dinosaur.

Shayde~

Shayde emerged into a small meadow, surrounded by thick forests. She figured she had reached the northern area, since large mountains reared up against the skyline. She sniffed the air, and didn't smell anyone too nearby. A faint scent of Schleromochlus reached her nostrils, probably Namine. Shayde also sniffed a bit at her side and grinned slightly. It was healing nicely. The Utahraptor considered going and finding experiment 19, but she decided not to. Namine might not remember her and mistake her for a controlled dinosaur. She increased her speed to the forest, wanting to get out of the open.

Eo~

"Where should we head first? After that scary Teratophoneus?" Eo asked with an involuntary shudder. He hoped Slate would say no. That thing could rip him apart if it really felt like it. Eo cocked his head and shut his eyes, trying to pinpoint the locations of nearby dinosaurs. The Teratophoneus had moved on, and he could barely sense his presence. Eo couldn't really sense anyone else in the Western area, except Slate. "We could head somewhere else..." he added casually, trying to hint that he didn't want to go after the Teratophoneus.

Namine
Namine lifted her head, slightly startled by this other dinosaur's change of tone. "Why- yes." Namine said. "its amusing how even though you bite them they just come back. Its like they would like to be bitten." Namine stopped circleing. But she didn't take her eyes off the newcomer. If Fennix could change from attacking her to speaking to her in a friendly way that quickly, she could change back just as fast. "So, what's your name?" Namine asked, all the while thinking about what this newcomer has said. Chips? Have these monsterous scientists really gone that far? Have I really been that isolated from the goings of the scientists? I should keep a closer watch on them!

Slate
"Hmm, probably not. Seeing that he does not like Controlled dinosaurs. We would have better luck finding one that doesn't know about us yet. I mean, the scientists havent seen a trace of some of them ever since they excaped. Not even a foorprint." Slate said. "I think the North and South would probably be the best. The terrain there is rocky and hard to climb on. So if there is a dinosaur there it would probably not be able to get out too easily." Slate then shut his beak and looked Eo in the eye. "Sorry, sometimes I talk too much." The Campylognathoides admitted.

Fern
Fern dipped her head into a small river that lead through the Northern area. Its source was a waterfall and its end was a lake. If any dinosaur drank from farther up the river would have the scent particles carried to Fern's nose by the water. She scented a strange dinosaur, a Iguanodon-Carnotaurus mix. A strange combination, but something the scientists would do. Fern was too occupied by the scent of the dinosaur that had drank from the river to notice that another dinosaur was not too far away.

I lifted my head from the water, it dripping off my jaws, as I scented a dinosaur somewhere nearby. I growled and narrowed my eyes, moving into the shadows. My eyes scanned the whole area in case they were after me. I wanted the upper hand, which I had, since I was behind the waterfall and not in the open. I waited and made no noise, even though the rushing water hid that.

As he continued to eat, the wounds in his flank began to sting. Growling with annoyance, he continued on to eat, trying to resist the pain from the burning wounds. The elk had quite a lot of fat in it, which Zerucunu didn't liked. He often tore out the fat before proceeding to eat the meat. There wasn't much meat, but there was still some meat there. It was tough, and tasteless, but at least still edible.

Theriz listened to the scientists' chatter. They were talking to eachother, escorting her through the wide, cold, bleak halls to the outside. She could smell the natural scents mixed with death and the disgusting human stench as they walked closer to the exit. These halls were too small for her, and she had to walk on all fours, a task that was strenuous and very painful. Her hands and wrists ached as they had to move in a way they were not meant to.

The main group of scientists barked orders at the others. Go this way, that way, and things she couldn't guess from their body language. It reminded her of how larger dinosaurs acted to the smaller, less important ones in the herd. Soon, however, Theriz's attention was diverted when they reached the end of the hallway. A big, shiny thing lay at the very end, and one of the scientists was doing something to their glowing boxes. The shiny thing rose up from the floor, and she realized it was a door.

Theriz walked through the door and immedeatly stood up. She twisted her wrists, trying to pop them and end the pain. The door slammed shut behind her, and she flinched, then looked out. On her back legs with her neck stretched she could see past the smaller trees, and scan the land. There were mountains in the distance, and the chip in her brain told her that was the way to go. North. She could smell water, and other dinosaurs there, so she lowered her neck and stated walking. Even with her best efforts Theriz was a big dinosaur, and couldn't help but make a lot of noise.

Fennix~

"I know, right?" Fennix agreed cheerily with Namine. "I'm Fennix." she said, a slight grin on her face. But the grin quickly vanished as her chip sent her a particularly jarring demand. She turned away, gripping her skull in her small, deft hands. "Urgh... stupid chip!" she half-mumbled. The messages and commands were getting too strong to ignore anymore. "Sorry about this." she whispered to Namine, letting out a blood-curdling scream.

Shayde~

Shayde moved carefully, not wanting her slowly forming scabs to crack. It would only cause more pain. She had to move slowly anyway, the throbbing pain of her semi-infected injuries was pretty bad. As Shayde made her way through the densest part of the forest yet, she noticed plenty of prey moving around. So, she stopped and quietly waited in a clump of tall bushes until a couple rabbits wandered across her path. Shayde tore out of the bushes and grabbed one of the rabbits by a neck. She tossed it up in the air then caught it, breaking its fragile neck. Shayde dropped it on the ground and ran speedily after the other one, using her unnatural speed to catch up to it quickly. She hooked her killing claw around its neck and tore into it, severing its jugular. Shayde ripped into it, crunching through bones. It was surprisingly juicy and tender, and she swallowed it quickly. She was walking back when she heard something big tromping through the undergrowth. Her nose was clogged with the scents of blood and meat, and she couldn't decide what the thing was.

Eo~

"Its fine. Sometimes I hesitate too much." Eo replied calmly. For the first time since he was created, he felt at ease. He was with a friend, and there were no large carnivores around to try and eat him. "Alright, I think we should go to the northern area. No wait, the southern. Ugh... you decide." Eo gave up with a sigh.
