I lay there still unconcious far from the shipwreck and closer to the rocks that jutted out of the ocean floor. The sun still beatting on my sandy white coat. As soon as whinnies and neighs were carried on the wind, was the time I slowly started to wake. My ears twitched and I sneezed as dry sand was picked up y the wind and rough to my nostrils. I started coughing hard from the saltwater and felt extreamly weak. I peered around through half opened eyes at my surroundings. I saw nothing but beach, ocean, and rocks. A treeline was above me but I could not see it for the sun blinded me every time I would try to look around and see exactly where I was. "Where am I? Am I dead?" I asked myself as it pained me more and more as I started coughing harder and soon getting the water out from within my lungs.

I struggled to my hooves but manage to catch myself each time I stumbled. I lifted my head the best I could only to let out a whinny back that hardly seemed to escape me. I started walking on wobbly legs down the shore to see if I couldn't find any of the others. Hoof prints left in the sand as a reminder that the rare white friesian mare had walked from where she lay half dead, to wherever her hooves now take her.
