Mothstar narrows her eyes and tilts her spotted head, looking at the white cat up and down "I will consider letting you join, however first I need to know your story." she turns to Silentbrook and Specksong [color#8000BF]"I apologise but this must be dealt with, would you mind patrolling along the river without me?"[/color] without waiting for a response she takes a few paw steps towards her den, flicking her long tail, beckoning Cloudfur to follow.

Larksong looks up as they hear a cat approach, seeing Newtpaw they smile and sit up eagerly. Crowflight stays still, only a flick of his ear acknowledging the apprentices arrival. "You're StarClan sent!" Larksong smiles and licks Newtpaw affectionately across her head before giving their blind brother a sharp jab "Excuse Crowflight, he's getting grumpier by the day. Now would you like a story or has your mentor got you busy today?" Larksong continues while Crowflight huffs and takes a bite out of the rabbit.

They were very nervous and hoped the she-cat wasn't upset at them.

Mothstar enters her den, her vision goes black for a moment before adjusting the the darkness. She claws away some moss in the roof of her den, allowing light to stream through the small gap. "Cloudfur was your name right? That sounds like a warrior name. Who gave it to you?" Mothstar starts, sitting next to her nest. She could tell this young cat was nervous and didn't want to spook her so she softens her gaze and licks a paw. This cat was obviously not a threat, however Mothstar knew not to let her guard down, there could be more rogues around the territory, waiting to ambush the camp.

She looked at Specklesong shyly "Uh, could we bring something to the elders first? I have not seen them eat yet..." she spoke up with a silent meow. She looked as the tom had already taken the two preys to himself and her "thank you" she meowed gently smiling.

She looked at the two similar-looking elders, with a smile "Oh it's alright" she meowed thoughtfully "no I don't have any plans with my mentor today instead I will accompany Flamefoot at night, he is going to have a chat with Starclan, I don know what thought..." she responded. She flicked her tail "sure, I don't mind a story...uh I promised to rest before the evening, but it's still early and...well I am not really tired yet...so..." she meowed little embrassed.

Cloudfur stopped for a moment surprised by the darkness before Mothstar clawed moss away. They stared at the small hole in the den wonfering if the moss would stick again.

"H-huh? Oh I'm sorry." Cloudfur said sheepishly. "My mother; she was a clan cat, but they didn't like the fact thst my father was a kittypet, so she left. Said that every cat needed a clan name, so she named me Cloudfur." Cloudfur's ears lowered slightly at the bittersweet memory.

Mothstar nods and narrows her green eyes They're half clan? she thinks.
"May I offer you some advice?" the spotted cat asks "You need to stop acting like a frightened kit. If you would like to join this clan you need to prove to me that I won't be making a mistake." Mothstar continues, she was being genuine. She can understand why Cloudfur was scared, especially being alone with Mothstar who towers over most cats, making senior warriors look like new apprentices however the rest of the clan would never accept Cloudfur unless they act like a fearsome warrior.

Larksong nods thoughtfully, "Well all we do all day is rest so we can help you out with that." Larksong smiles "Is there anything you would like to hear? I'm afraid I'm starting to get forgetful with my age.." Larksong continues furrowing her brow. Crowflight sighs, he was the complete oposite to his sibling. Larksong is eccentric and loves being the center of attention where as Crowflight, he just likes to be fed and left alone. He was much like his sibling before he lost his sight in the fire that named Flamefoot, but has since become bitter. Crowflight takes another bite of the rabbit,"Larksong stop mucking about and eat." he grumbles lashing his tail.

To be honest they weren't sure.if it was an assurance, but they would prove they weren't a mistake if it killed them.

Crookedpaw shook the dew out of his fur as he stood up and stretched his aching muscle from the stiff position he'd rested in the night before. With a quick shake and yawn he padded swiftly out of his den, his long limber limbs making his walk seem like a run to most his age. He took a quick glance around the camp to see who else was still in camp and made a mental note of it before sitting down in a little spot of sunshine in the camp.(open for interactions)

Sootstorm opens one eye to see Crokedpaw laying in the same patch of sun as himself. "Did you just wake up?" the small grey tom asks rolling onto his back, leaving his soft belly exposed to the warmth from the sun. He gazes up, watching as a wood pigeon flies above the large hole in the cave roof It's almost Greenleaf, thank starclan! Sootstorm thinks to himself rolling on the hot rocky floor.

Crookedpaw looked down at the warrior sprawled out in the sun. "Ah yeah, I wasn't realllly looking forward to getting up today but.. well here we are.." the small tom sighed, he knew his training would probably start as soon as he got a mentor but he wished he could put it off just a little bit longer. He stood up from his sitting position to stretch again, the sun just seemed to make him even sleepier than before.. He wasn't particularly looking forward to greenleaf with this thick pelt of his he knew he'd probably be hot all the time as soon as greenleaf rolled around, it was the same every year. He glanced back to the larger tom-cat "Well what plans do ya have for today? I'm think i'm quite free for today, at least until my mentors assigned and my training starts.." he sighed. Sitting back beside Sootstorm he rolled over copying the position of the older tom.
