Tala woke an hour later and saw a deer grazing thirty metres from her. She stood quietly, her mouth watering with hunger, and lunged at it. It saw her a moment too late and her claws caught its hind leg. It screamed and fell, with her on top of it, crushing its windpipe in her jaws. She fed greedily for the next half hour, basking in the feeling of food in her tummy.

Tala looked up as the voice of another wolf reached her ears. She glanced at her and stood up slowly. "I don't mind killing humans if they're a threat to me." she replied. "Who are you?"

"iam Aastra i live in a pack you must be a lona" she said her head on the side "my leader Slade and one of my pack mate came looking for you to see if your alright"

"They haven't reached me yet." Tala glanced around, but she couldn't hear or smell any other wolves. "Hi. I'm Tala, and I'd like to become a member of a pack." She hesitated. "I've seen a few around here..."

"Ok come with me we need to find Slade his realy nice " she smiled thinking a thought his mine not deception's she walked through some ferns a rabbit shot across her angree human voices and gun shots thed fownd the corps "RUN" she screeched racing through the furns and tripping over Slade "sorry iam so so so sorry" she lowerd her head i killed a human cub there andgree" she felt so giulty she was sorta having a nervious brake down

Tala heard more gunshots and raced after Aastra. Then, her new friend skidded to a halt and bow. Tala froze. If this was an Alpha, she'd probably be kicked off his pack's territory. She backed away a little, unsure of what to do.

AAastra ternd around shed goten over felling guilty well at least the melt-down "Slade this is my firend Nala she was the loner i spoke about before she want to join our pack" Aastra paused "i saw her catch a deer she was pritty good and with some practice shell be one of the best hunters" she smiled at Nala she wanted to make shore her new found friend got in the pack no matter what i mean her pack was for loners ophans and carst outs wasnt it ?

Slade nodded. "Hello Tala." He said, smiling. "You took down a single deer by yourself? Impressive." Slade chuckled, he was obviously impressed and stunned. Another gunshot resounded through the forest. A wolf's whimper echoed as well, seeming to follow the whimper. Slade looked down. "One of Nightmare's hunters." He said dryly. "We need to get out of here, now." Slade quickly added, swishing his fluffy grey and black tail. He flicked his ear then turned to go back to the pack.

Deception followed behind Slade without a word. She wasn't the most social wolf. Coming upo next to him she looked him in the eyes "We're fine, right Slade?" she asked "We're going to be fine?"
