Blizzardclaw purred as he watched his former apprentice and friend get the bird. It wasn't much so far but at least it was a start, it was at least a bit more lively today than other days. He glanced at Spottedpaw who had been watching him then at Tempestpaw, "never let height stop you, you'll be able to figure out ways to still get them even if you aren't able to get that high." He sounded like more like a mentor but it was true, smaller cats can still use their size to advantage.

The she-cat listened to both Rockhopper and her father Blizzardclaw, nodding her head as she listened. Her ears perked up some as she listened to Tempestpaw, she hoped they were somehow big and juicy. She wish she could eat it then but the clan was first, hopefully they continued on with their luck and she could have something they bring back. "If you keep talking I'll take them all myself," she teased her sister before staying low to the ground as she followed the scent. She was ready to pounce once she saw them in her view.

Rockhopper turned to the three girls and smiled he took his crow and backed up giving them space to hunt. He curled his tail slightly. "Rememmber, Stay l-low to t-the ground, a-and watch for tw-twigs." He gave the smaller cats a smile and tapped Blizzardclaw with his tail. He watched as Spottedpaw got closer. "St-stay u-upwind"

He listened to the deputy silently, nodding to his words "alright I am up for a patrol" he meowed to him, but was a little unsure when he ordered him to eat something. He knew that even he needed to eat something, but it felt so wrong especially when there was excepting queen there. As the tom walked away to look for more cats to ask, he walked over to the fresh-kill pile, not really wanting to eat anything, but he didn't want to worry the already stressed Cloudfoot, who only thought about his clan's goods. So he picked a mouse up and quickly eaten it, watching the camp entrance all the time.

She nodded to her once more, looking over at Cloudfoot walking there like he was being looked for some cats to talk or invite at. Flicking her ears she looked over to her brother there eating "so do you want something to eat? we could maybe share something?" she asked suddenly.

She smirked at Spottedpaw, her gaze following her trying to figure out which one of the three mice she was actually trying at so they could not get after the same one, they could crash into each other instead. She flicked her ears toward Rockhopper "yes I know, Shallowclaw is showed me the right way to actually catch something" she meowed, starting to crawl closer to the mice, waiting for her sisters moves as they could try to do them in almost same times so the rest of the mice don't have time to get away.

Spottedpaw nodded as she kept her eye on her surroundings, that was the last thing she wanted to do was ruin the close prey for everybody. She moved closer to the ground, the scent of the mouse growing stronger and quickly pounced onto it. She didn't let it go and carried it happily back over to Rockhopper. "not the biggest one I've seen but it's not super frail like some of the others," she placed it down on the ground and buried it to come back for it. "

The father of the apprentices watched them contently, purring softly as he listened to Rockhopper instruct Spottedpaw. He licked his friends ear once, "sounds like you're ready for your first apprentice." He purred when he watched Spottedpaw come back with the mouse, "good job." But of course it was Tempestpaw that had the slight attitude, there was no reason why a nice reminder isn't needed sometimes. When you look at the small picture you loose track of ones surroundings - especially now when they all are hungry nearly every sunrise.

She patiently waited for her sister to take the first move when she attacked and caught one of the mice she immediately charged after the other two mice, who was trying to run away, quickly hitting her claws into the mice back, quickly killing it. Smiling herself she looked over to the group of cats caring the mice into her jaws, lightly rolling her eyes at her father's words.

Blizzardclaw shook his head some at Tempestpaw and sighed. He was proud of course that she caught the remaining mice before they got away but could of done without the eye rolling. He turned away as he heard another group of birds somewhat nearby and quickly went to try to start tracking them.

» Rowanheart glanced over at his apprentice who was now alone. ❝ Alright perfect ❞. he responded, beginning to pad over toward Stormpaw. He hadn't really been out collecting herbs in a while, especially not this many different ones at a time. Part of him worried that something may have happened to his usual spots, but he decided it wasn't the best to think like that. The tom let that worry drift away and was mainly focused on heading out now.

Stormpaw had watched the skittish tom leave, and joined up with a few other clanmates. She felt bad that she couldn't help the tom look for the last cat who had the dream. It felt strange like it was...a prophecy. Her heart leaped at the word. She hadn't used that word in quite awhile. Stormpaw turned to see her mentor approaching, and Mistwing was trailing behind the tom. Perfect. Maybe, once they returned from gathering herbs, Rockhopper would have found the missing cat who they needed to find. Just then a sudden thought came to her mind. What if the missing cat was her own mentor? No, he wouldn't have said what he did to Rockhopper if he had. What about Mistwing? She didn't think so since the molly didn't look like she'd had a strange dream concerning the moonpool. Perhaps, she could find out later though. She waved her tail in greeting to the two and bounced on her paws a bit. "Hi, Mistwing! I hope your doing well.", she said to the molly, before turning to Rowanheart. "Should we head out now?", she asked the tom as she awaited for the tom's reply she sat down, and began to groom some ruffled fur.

Ravensight turned her amber gaze toward the ginger tom, noticing it to be her fellow warrior Hawktalon. She didn't particularly care for the tom, or any other member for that matter. She flicked her tail, in mild annoyance though she didn't have much choice, but to converse with the tom. Perhaps, she should have left on that solo hunting trip after all. Anyway, the molly returned her attention to the tom, who gave her a relatively friendly greeting. "I wouldn't call this a good morning. A good morning would be one where we weren't hungry, starving. One where we wake up to prey and water. Full of strength and healthy. You should be able to tell by now that I'm doing horrible." she said, feeling the hungry pangs once more in her stomach. If, only they could find some decent prey. Curse Starclan for ever letting this happen, they must have cursed them before they deserted the clan. Or maybe she had been right all along, that Starclan never existed. It was bound to happen at some point, and it was happening now. After a few moments, she turned back to the tom her amber eyes gleaming slightly. "Anyway, Hawktalon I hope you have other plans for today besides pestering your fellow clanmates.", she said in a bored tone, her tail swaying slowly.

She made a nod "alright, I am back soon" she meowed padding toward the fresh-kill pile, giving her brother small greetings as she stopped to look the preys, two mice, one large bird. She takes mice as the bird could be a good meal to queen Nutmeg. She carried the mice back where Littlestar was waiting "here? there was not much, maybe I...we could do some hunting after the meal..." she meowed to her.
