Flattered, he smiled politely at Adderhead and purred "Oh, are you sure? You're the one who caught it, anyways." Shadowblaze cocked his head to one side and waited for his response, unsure if he should take the vole just to be polite. Although, there was also a feeling of slight guilt for taking the first, fresh catch of the day. Someone else was more deserving of it.

They looked rather busy, so he didn't bother. He glanced into the water and glared at himself. He should have been able to stop the tussling cats. He was cowardly, and he knew it.

"But you both instigated the fight," she retorted and glared at Foxpaw. "Don't speak back against me, or your consequences will be greater," Primrosestar concluded with a lash of her tail. "Songheart, your punishment will be to change all bedding for a month. Foxpaw, your training will be withheld until you learn to keep your tongue." It was harsh, but she needed them both to learn from this. She couldn't have her clan falling apart.
