She smiled back, "if it wasn't for you I am pretty sure I couldn't save both of us or even fight off the badger." She shifted her paws so the she could put less pressure on her back. She winced in pain, "that badger had strength," she joked.

The she-cat nodded her head towards the apprentice in gratefulness. She applied a few licks on a small scratch on her paw, which formed when she tripped on a twig.
