Amber looked up when she saw Flash return to camp with Winter, Flame, and Arrow. Taking a deep breath, she focused on taking the rage of thoughts coming from them, and shoving them into little raindrops in her head. The sound of rain had always soothed her, and it helped her to control her powers. Once the thoughts were firmly drowned out in the sound of the rain, she stood, and walked over to the beta, and dipped her head slightly in respect "If I may ask" she said softly "What were Flame and Winter doing out and about?"[/center]

Apathmo turned away from Galen and the others. Their colors were very strange, and he still had to bring in his kill for the rest of the clan. He collected his contribution to the clan and headed back. Little animals in the underbrush around him were tempting, but it was long past time he was back. Picking up his pace, Apathmo approached the boarders in no time.

(Okay, so, heyo...

I'm here to talk about a really bad topic...

So, that news channel is the CTV News Channel, which is the national news channel of Canada and Mississauga is my hometown...it's super rare that my town gets mentioned on the local Toronto news and as far as I know, my town has never been mentioned on the national news. Also, according to a friend, it's also being shown in America...yay...

If you didn't read the article, essentially what happened was that there was an explosion in my town about 2-3 hours ago at the time I am writing this. It killed at least 1 person and destroyed a total of 25 houses.

Fortunately, I'm okay but I feel absolutely terrible.

Apparently, Mississauga is trending on Twitter right now, which makes me feel a little better...I did just tweet out something on Twitter about it and hopefully I can start a trending hashtag, #MiracleforMississauga, because if that happens, I'll feel a lot better...

I'm pretty shaken up right now and it might be because I'm a lot more emotionally sensitive and empathetic than my friends, so if I don't RP or be just all around socialize, it's because of the explosion and the fact that I feel absolutely terrible that I had no idea that this had even occured until 2 hours later.

As well as being upset, I am also packing for a vacation today and tomorrow and won't be on often on the 30th because I'll be on the road to New Jersey...

So, all in all, I'm pretty upset right now... )

((Hiya everyone! I'm going to be nonexistent from Sunday 10 July 2016 until Friday 15 July 2016, and probably most of that Saturday, too. My absence will be caused by my attending a week long summer camp where electronics are not allowed, so ya, no posting. They won't expect me to sleep much, so most of Saturday will be catching up on that very neccessary item. I will try to be on in the late afternoon/evening of that day, though, so fear not!))

Ember's gaze flickered to Amber. "The pups were playing with Galen in the meadow when I think that they sensed a human," She said. "Flash, Apathmo, Galen and I attacked and killed the human. It had a gun and was a danger to them." Her tail swished. "We've been found by the humans. We have to move again." Ember pulled Flame closer to her.

Amber's eyes widened, and her concentration lapsed for a moment, a wave of thoughts from every wolf in the camp rushing in before she managed to get it under control "On the move again" she said softly, before a look of determination filled her eyes "When do we leave?[/center]

Apathmo approached the edge of the camp and stopped. He general color of the entire area was a dark and dismal blueish grey. There were occasional shocks of white-green fear in the mix. Had Ember told them about the human? Carefully staying neutral, Apathmo entered the camp with the prey he had caught for the clan.
