Rivermist looked at her in confusion. "Um... Okay." She said, then looked out from behind her and saw the torn up herbs and prey. "Lets go." She said, then turned back, swiftly moving through the trees.

Sunstar smiled down at the apprentice and mentor from where he stood, his troubles pushed away.

Se raced back to the camp along side Rivermist and mewed while trying to catch her breathe,"I know it is hard to understand, but I have only seen things like this as an omen. My mother was a medicine cat." As soon as they entered the camp, Patchfoot padded towards Sunstar. She looked at him with shock and a bit of fear,"Sunstar, May I speak with you alone? It's very important." She looked back at Rivermist and mewed,"You may come too if you'd like." The she-cat mewed in a gentle tone.

Sunstar "Let's go into my den." He said, any trace of the happiness and ease, vanished from his face. He glanced at Rivermist, then led the way under the high stones.

Rivermist nodded and followed quietly.

She mewed softly,"I-I-I saw an Omen.. Something is destined to happen. But I cannot forsee what is to happen." Her belly tightened as Sunstar's face changed emotion. She looked down at her paws,"I can keep you updated if I see anything else from starclan. if you would like Sunstar."

Rivermist stayed at the entrance, making sure no one could bother them.

Sunstar rested his tail tip on Patchfoot's shoulder. "That would be great. Don't doubt yourself." He answered quietly.

She nodded in concern and understanding. "Of course, Sunstar." Patch foot quickly exited the den to see if the elders, queens and kits were okay.

Sunstar sat for a moment in his den while Rivermist looked on with concern. "Are you okay?" She asked her former mentor. He looked up and smiled faintly. "There isn't anything that you need to worry about at the moment." He answered, his voice calming but his eyes had a flicker on uncertainty. He padded back out of the den and Rivermist followed.

Softkit burst out of the nursery, glad to finally be allowed out again. "Wait a second...." She skidded to a halt and slowly stalked out of camp through dirtplace. Time to show Sunstar I can hunt!

Wolfclaw stood up and pads over to the camp entrance. A walk would be nice he thinks as he trots through the forest slowly, enjoying the fresh forest air.

"Then lets hurry or Stormpaw will leave us behind." The silver cat seemed eager to get moving with or without them, so he lead the way over trying not to stay too far ahead of his apprentice. The last thing he wanted was to discourage Stonepaw to be a warrior. "We're ready to go!" He calls to Dogtooth.

"About time you two showed up, I thought I'd be in the elders den before we got to hunting." Mildly amused his mentor had not been able to respond to his comment, but still tried to keep his sharp tongue from stabbing at Stonepaw's soft spots. The taller Thunderhaze gave him a stiff look, but Stormpaw only shrugged and started skipping towards the entrance.

"How ridiculous, apprentices getting work before the warriors. You'd think a patrol would have been organized by now, even without a deputy." She hisses to herself, glaring at the cats just sitting around like there was no work to be done. "If I was deputy, Starclan forbid these furballs would just be sitting around in the morning sun..."

His eyes scan camp taking note of who was awake and ready. Cloudfrost, Wolfclaw, Firetail and Silverpaw; just the right amount of cats too. His ears flick at Sunstar wondering if he was waiting a little longer before giving orders, perhaps debating the next deputy. The back of his mind prayed for a tom, they needed all the she-cats open for kits if the clan was going to keep growing.[
