He looked across the farm, the smell of wood hit the roof of his mouth. He nodded at Silver, "would you like to hunt with me?" He asked nicely.

"Sure, I like catching the mice in the barn, Claw told me to never hunt in the open unless its dark out because there are a lot of hawks and eagles here," Silver mewed

He nudged her shoulder gently. "I'll eat the Hawks." He chuckled.

He ran forward a little and looked up, he only spotted 2 Hawks, and they were around the edges of the farm.

Silver giggled and led him into the barn to hunt. When they were inside she began to hunt the mice which were scuttling around under the hay

He leapt at a few mice, and he quite quickly had a good sized pile next to him.
He returned to a corner of the barn and lay with his food, he watched Silver quietly.

Silver caught three mice in one go which made her pleased with herself.
"They were never this easy to catch," then it dawned on her "Oh! It's breeding season for them! There must be lots of babies around here!"

He laughed,
"Clever."
He mewed in amusement. He rested his head on his paws,
He hadn't realised how tired he was from the small fight earlier.

Silver ate her mice. "Are you not going to eat yours?" She asked confused on why he wasn't eating

He shrugged.
"Clan. They eat first." He mewed, ignoring the hunger in his belly.

"why?" Silver asked "You're not allowed to eat at least one mouse?"
