"Alright! I love to run!" Velvetpaw said. She felt the wind running against her whiskers,"This what it's like to be a warrior." she thought.

She skidded to a halt beside the training hollow. "Today, you're going to learn the hunting crouch." She said, proud.

"Cool, does this help the rodents we hunt not see us?" Velvetpaw asked. She wanted to know everything about becoming a warrior. It was her dream to become one after all.

"Of course." She nodded. "It also helps for us to be light on our paws, and prepare for high jumps."

"Cool!" Velvetpaw said. She really meant it, she wanted to start hunting already.

She crouched down low onto the ground. "First, you get as low as you can. Then, you carefully drag each paw forward, but don't let it touch the ground as you move it. Also, you have to watch where you're placing your paws. Now you try."

Velvetpaw crouched as instructed, she watched her paw placement carefully, and looked at Snowpelt, "Is this okay?" she asked nervously. She wanted it to be perfect so she could hunt well.
