Morningheart's ears prick when she hears someone scuffling around the den, and her eyes open just a tiny bit. After the sond stops, she slowly lifts her head and yawns, looking around. She gets up and begins to stretch, looking over at Sandpaw's nest. "Sandpaw?" She mews, her voice gruff with sleepyness. "Was that you scuffling around?"

(Oh gosh! I was about to post something else with Sandpaw, but then I saw this. I did NOT see that! So sorry. Ill post here with him)

"Yes," Sandpaw muffled, ashamed. "Sorry, Morningheart." Sandpaw got up, as quietly as he could, and went outside. He then saw Stonepaw. "Good morning, Stonepaw! Are you as excited as I am to start training?!" he bounced up and down.

"Its alright. Its time for me to wake up, anyway." She yawns. (For this next part, remember: She is old and grumpy o.o)
"Come on now, Sandpaw! We dont have all day, its already almost sunhigh and we havent even started!" She mrows.

"Of course!" Mods fur replied and briskly trotted out of the camp and waited for her leader.

Hawkblaze looked at his clanmates, then padded to the leader, "may i join the patrol?"

"Yes, Morningheart, I'm coming," he said as he grinned ear to ear. He was about to start training! He bounced into the medicine cat den, and perched next to the herbs.

Morningheart smiles, glad to have an apprentice thats excited to learn. She pads over to where he sits, And points to the nearest pile, containing a Tangy-scented leaf. "Thats Dock leaf. Its very good for healing scratches. You need to chew it though, and lick the juice onto the patient's wounds." She mews, demonstrating with a smaller leaf. "We'll need to get more of these later, but right now the stock is fine."

Sandpaw nodded eagerly. "Ok. So, that's dock, and you need to chew it up and apply it to scratches. Have I got it right?" He repeated.

Morningheart smiles and nods, "Very good." She mews, moving on to the next herb. "Now, these are daisy leaves. They are to be chewed into a paste, and they are good for aching joints. They're also a traveling herb, to keep from getting tired on the trip." She blinks at her apprentice, waiting for a reply.
