Deepgaze finally padded out of the warriors den and saw Gorepaw. "He's probably been looking for me." he thought. "Hi Gorepaw." he meowed cheerfully. More cheerfully than usual. But he was excited.

"Um, yes..." Dawnpaw's head said no but her mouth managed a yes. She started to shake a bit with worry.
"Deepgaze" Gorepaw spung in front of him. "I'm ready to do whatever you tell me!"

Amberfeather smiled. "Good, come along now Dawnpaw, you have a lot to learn. Don't worry if you don't get it all correct at once, it takes time and practice," she advised, trying her best to make her apprentice feel better.

Deepgaze purred. "Well today, I am going to teach you some hunting. Come with me." he said, and padded calmly out of the entrance to Grassclan.
