Winter kept quiet as Fenyetta let loose with a heated string of questions, swishing her tail lightly over the tall grass as she mulled each and every one over. She nibbled her lip as she found it difficult to come up with any certain answer. How many times had it been, when she'd been just a young, orphaned thing, still dealing with so much loss, and had cried out in frustration as to why their leader had left them? Why all the adults and budding bulls had fought so bravely trying to protect their home and herd, many of them dying, and then he'd just picked up and gone without even an explanation? Her breath caught in her throat slightly as her eyes wandered back to Thorin for maybe a half-second, all of her own questions resurfacing fully for the first time in years. She'd been a lot like Fenyetta in her youth, all questions and not nearly enough time to ask them all before she grew older, and learned to keep more of her curiosities to herself.
Taking in a deep breath, and closing her eyes for a moment as she calmingly exhaled through her nostrils, she smiled softly to the Kirin. But the cow's attention abruptly shifted to Darius before she could say anything, firing off one more question, like the final rumble of thunder from a fading storm. At least that would give her a little more time to think about what, exactly, she was going to tell Fenyetta about the matter. And then, as he usually did, Gabriel came drifting out of his sleepy daze and happened to wander through, possibly just for the sole purpose of nipping his brother's hip. "Hello ladies~" the bull received them through a grin, and then kept along his merry way as he crossed the field toward Bentley. Poor Ben. Her eyebrows raised just a hair as she nodded her head in kind greeting, she shook her head once more (A day didn’t go by where she wasn’t shaking her head at at least one of the two brothers’ antics) after he'd got past them good. Always the charmer.
She gave her pelt a small shake before she turned her attention back to Darius and Fenyetta, looking around briefly before her expression brightened by a few degrees. "The heat of the day's about underway, why don't we all venture over to the shade for a while? I'll tell you what I know once we're there." she offered gently, gesturing toward quite the stately example of a shade tree, out in the open and away from the forest's edge to allow for optimal view from all sides. The three of them were far too close to those dark thickets for her own liking, since she was well aware that things lived in there, and she thought it best for them to put a little distance between them... and it.

I swished my tail, waiting for a reply from either one of the Kirins I was talking to. As Gabriel went by I flattend my ears slightly, not really intrested in his behavior. I knew that it was quite ironic when that came from me as I was known in this herd to be quite unpolite and aggresive, in general a cow with quite the moodswings.
I felt how the sun was warming up my back a tad to much, and shook out my pelt and dashed my tail in frustration and was quite relieved when Winter suggested to go under a tree standing in the cooling shadows. I gave her a nod before trotting towards the tree dashing my tail after a couple of annoying flies that was attracted by my warm body.
When I reached the tree it didn't take me long before I dropped myself on my knees then laid myself on my side and started to roll in the cool grass. When I was satisfied and cooled off enough I rolled back so I was resting in a much more comfortable positions before looking up at the Darius and Winter. My impatient was radically growing and I wanted an answer, and wanted it now. There where no excuses for Winter not to answer as we where now away from the others and from Thorin's hearing so I gave Winter a short question to get that brain of hers to explain ''So??''

darius :: looks;; bull;; ten years;; confused but content
_____________________________________________________________ tags;; Winter, Fenyetta
Waggling his short tail as his brother nipped his flank, Darius remained concerned with the conversation at hand. He replied to Fenyetta's quiere about him looking at her like that, trying to make sure he was kind and constructive. "Oh, it's nothing, it's just that now that you mention it, I wonder that too." Darius then flicked his eyes upwards, just as a small bird flitted over, then back down to the earthly world. Looking to Winter as she suggested that they go into the shade, he became aware that the sun was gnawing on his back rather than warming it pleasently. A slight smile of his face, and Darius nodded, following Fenyetta over to the tree. Unlike the spirited female, he stood still with his eyes closed, enjoying the shade and slight breeze that sang through his fur.
Darius opened his eyes again, watching the bulls and cows of the herd meander over the fields. And there he was, striding over the land. The male had certainly adjusted quickly, and what a mystery Thorin was to Darius! He was an unknown and that bothered the younger bull. Knowledge was important, and a huge gap like that, and a huge gap of something so important! It was a good thing Winter would fill him in, otherwise Darius was likely to overthink things and assume that Thorin was there for conspiracy or some sort of terrible thing. But of course, he wasn't. But of course, Darius was a bit of a worry-wart.
He turned, ready to hear Winter's eleboration of the bull's story.

[ Okay, I think it's about time to kick this into gear again, really would love seeing both mine and others CK active again. ;u; ]Bentley:.The large bull made sure to keep an ear turned in the direction of the talking kirins not far away, sometimes raising his head to give them a short glance, though his attention was soon grabbed by something silvery moving towards him.
Judging by the cocky attitude and lack of a tail it couldn't be any other than Gabriel himself, trotting towards him and giving a nod as a greeting, which he got one back before the younger of them started grazing in the shade of Bentley.
The older bull watched him for a moment, staying still on his spot for a moment before he took a few steps forwards and continued grazing, now with two directions to keep his attention at.
Old habits never die, after keeping an eye out for the herd for so long he couldn't ignore them just because Thorin was back.
Bentley watched the females by Darius and gave a deep sigh, tail twitching behind him as he had raised his head and was now moving across the grass, leaving Gabriel behind again to wander off to the nearest source of water. He didn't mind moments alone, it gave him time to think without any distracting noise around him.

-- finally updated the front, added them all and made a form for Syren, I'm making him Reikis half brother, if that's alright .3. --
SYREN
Syren's long legs waded through the long golden pasture grass, watching the rest of the herd by a far as he usually did. Standing alone, observing them welcome their new leader like he'd never left. He'd only been a apart of the herd for a few years, only after his father passed did he even think to join one. But, after he learned that he had half-kin in this herd, he knew he had to. He could never had made it on his own anyway. He snorted, wandering closer to the herd and watching one of the older bulls, Bentley. He gave the bull a respectful nod and looked back at the rest of the herd.
REIKI
Reiki bonded about the herd, trotting along, listening in on a few conversations and and greeting her heard mates. Evn though he was not the friendliest or most social, she did like to greet everyone every now and then. She was in a rather good mood, and felt that socializing was the best thing for her. She slowed to a jog, scanning the fields near the watering hole for the rest of them, seeing her half-kin and then Bentley, and few others near by, she watched for awhile, her bright green eyes studying her herd mates
opened up a new rank 'head bull' if you'd like your bull to have this rank, lemme know c;

|[ Woah, I haven't posted here yet, my bad. :B
☾ CYRANO ☽ | the troublemaker |
The thud of heavy hooves was subtle in the meadow. A familiar face, not seen in a while trotted towards his herd. Cyrano had been off for quite a while, doing who-knows-what and causing mischief and chaos, one could presume. The young bull seemed to have endless energy, moving along with the usual perk in his step that many of the more mature bulls would roll their eyes at. Once he got to the middle of the meadow, he gave everyone he made eye contact with a nod in greeting and bent his head down to graze for a few moments before his curiosity and drifting mind would lead him elsewhere.

T H O R I N▻
Thorin finished his walk and began towards the group of kirin that seemed to be rested together. His black tail swished in the wind and his horns shone. His dappled black coat was unique and different, and he held his head high, poised and calm. He was a male of few words, but a male of few but wise and intelligent words. He was not afraid of anything, or so anyone who saw him would believe, and he was so strong and had a calming effect following him about, almost relaxing everyone who looked at him. He seemed to be a decent leader, yet the reason why he had left in the first place is the most unclear and mysterious thing about him. Thorin had a way of making others want to know more, but he lets on nothing.
A M N E S I A▻
Amnesia walked quietly about the area, slightly away from the other kirin. She was a younger girl, not around when Thorin had been the leader before. She was his son, yet she didn't know very much of him or the fact that she even was his son. She walked gracefully and daintily like a good spirit floating about a forest. She dipped her head to graze a bit, her blue eyes piercing anything in their sight. She had the body of a strong female kirin, yet her mannerism illustrated her true shyness. She truly was like amnesia, always forgetting and always flighty, and her name was so beautiful in a haunting way.

☾ CYRANO ☽ | the troublemaker |
After grazing for a bit, the large kirin bull lifted his head and searched around, his amber eyes glowing with mischief. He spotted the young Amnesia towards the outskirts of the herd, and made his way over to her gradually. His ebony horns shone in the light as he approached. Although Cyrano had no intricate pattern, he was one of the most vivid colored kirins in the herd, and easy to spot from afar."Amnesia, right? I've been gone for a while, what's been going on?" he asked casually, first deciding to start some small talk before he began messing with the female, if he decided to at all.

A M N E S I A▻
Amnesia was startled by the sudden approach of this flashy, bold male kirin; his personality seemed to be on his coat, and it almost seemed to be the complete opposite of shy, flighty Amnesia. She lifted up her head suddenly when her ice blue eyes caught hold of the flash of vivid orange coming towards her. He was handsome, of course, as all the male kirin here were, but she never ever had thought of speaking to one of them. No, her idea was to watch them from afar and keep her distance. The male came near; it was Cyrano. She had heard of his somewhat vivid personality, and she leaned back and away from him a little. Then he spoke, and he knew her name. He sounded casual, and Amnesia responded in her melodic and harmonious light voice,"Yes, Cyrano, I'm Amnesia. I don't know much, as I haven't spoken to many kirin."
woah guys, i'm back, after a very long time.
