Blackdawn couldn't help but laugh at the funny attitudes of the two kits. One moment they were playing, then they were apologizing, then playing again. As they continued to romp around, she followed them silently, not wishing to disturb their game. When one of them mentioned food, she suddenly popped up and said, "I caught a mouse this morning." She felt happy that her mouse might be of use already.

Personality: Whistlepaw is conceited and talkative, but is also quite friendly and giving. He likes to spend his time training or with his friends and siblings, and is easily bored. He hates to be alone.
History: Whistlepaw was born to Yellowtooth and Foxclaw, and was normally clan raised.

Frogkit

"Thanks!" Frogkit said, immediately taking off to the lonely freshkill pile. She watched as her brother followed her closely, having already said his thank yous as well. The two kits raced toward the freshkill pile as fast as they could. Frogkit got there first, and scooped up the mouse in her jaws. "You may have one last time, but I'm faster!" She said, bragging to her brother, who had only been a tail length behind her. She then took the mouse over to the patch of shorter grass by the nursery where all the kits ate, and often the queens too. She set down the mouse and began to eat, as did Fishkit.

Iristail

Iristail watched from the entrance of the warriors den as the kits played. She couldn't help but be a little jealous of all the queens, since she was one of the older warriors in hte clan, you would have thought she would have a mate and kits of her own by now. She just loved how energetic and carefree kits could be. She saw that Blackdawn had offered them some of the prey she had caught, and decided to go see her fellow warrior. She really had to stop all this daydreaming about kits. "Hey, how's your morning been?" She asked.

Webface followed, crouching low to the ground. They were both right, the thing could be injured, and that would only mean it would be more dangerous. He wondered, for a moment, if it could be twolegs, but he couldn't imagine what sort of twoleg creature could make such a noise. Besides, he didn't smell the rank smell that lingered on the Thunderpath. No, this was something different. Something living. He raised his head and parted his jaws, trying to tell if it was a scent he recognized.

Nightpelt got up, stretching. He had watched the kits tumble around for a while, every once in a while giving a purr of laughter at the constant apologizing and the continue. He padded over to the apprentices' den, where he assumed Patchpaw would be. "Patchpaw," he called. "Would you like to go practice fighting techniques, or would you rather stay here all day lazing around?" The scrambling paws answered his question, followed by the tumble of the apprentice out of the tunnel.

Silverwind

Silverwind saw a large shape moving through the trees, as she once again heard a loud crack, this time definetly identifyable as the sound of a large branch or root cracking. She didn't know what this thing was, but it was enormous. She held back and called to the others, this wasn't an injured cat for sure. What could a patrol, or even a clans worth, of cats possibly do about something so big? It was bigger than any twoleg she had ever seen.

Tigermoon

Tigermoon came to Silverwind's call, and saw the creature as well. Though there was still a good distance between the cats and the creature, she was practically shaking. In its mouth were pieces of metal and some sort of flexible material. On it's back was a strange shell, and it's neck was long and thick. What was this creature? It's feet were strange platforms, big enough to easily crush a cat, and though it's legs looked wobbly, it was still standing. And it made the strangest sounds. One of the strips of material from the metal in it's mouth was wrapped around a tree branch as it was pulling against it. The whole tree kept leaning to the side as the creature struggled with this.

Wavetree pelted to Silverwind, his fur bristling. He passed them, and stopped just beside the massive creature. He stumbled backward as the thing raised it's head and let out a long, wailing sound. He scrambled over to Silverwind and Tigermoon, looking at the creature, stunned. "What in Starclan's name is it?" he yowled over the creatures pitiful sounds. He looked from the strap around the creature's head and the metal in it's mouth to the strap stuck on the tree. "Do you think it's stuck?"

Silverwind

"I don't know what it is." Silverwind said, stating the truth as it was. She was scared of the thing though, it's feet looked deadly, as did it's size in general. "But I think it is stuck... Should we try to unstick it?" She suggested, seeing no other plan other than leave the paniced creature here, far too close to camp. The straps and the shell looked like twoleg things, what if twolegs came searching for it. That wouldn't be good at all, they didn't want to have to move camp anyways.

Blackdawn smiled at her denmate before answering, "It wasn't so bad. I did catch a mouse after all," she replied, looking back to the kits and queens gobbling the prey down, "How about you? Something interesting must have happened to you this morning." She looked back at Iristail, looking very interested. That's what her father had told her to do. Always act interested. 'You'll be surprised about how much information you can get from one interested look,' he always said.

"Meh, not that much actually." Iristail said, wondering what could possibly be so interesting about her morning when she had only just awoken. "I've been wondering if it's about time for Patchpaw and Darkpaw to become warriors, they are almost 13 moons old now after all." She said, thinking it would be good conversation starter. "Darkpaw knows almost everything I have to teach him, and I'd imagine that Patchpaw is getting close to that point too."

Blackdawn looked thoughtful for a moment before nodding. "You've taught him well, he's become a great fighter, as for Patchpaw, well he reminds me of myself," she chuckled, "I was rather surprised that they weren't made warriors the same time as me." She thought of her ceremony briefly. It had been cold and windy and no cat had really seemed to want to be out there. Sometimes she thought it was a bad way to start out as a warrior.
