I tilted my head to the side, pricking my ears. "W-who is mama? Is there a-a leader here?" I asked. "I-I don't want to i-intrude or anything." I ducked my head in embarrassment. This Echokit was quite handsome. I quickly brushed the thought from my mind.

I looked expectantly at Echokit, and looked around, hoping to see a leader to ask if it was okay for Kayla to be here. "Leader?" I called.

Echokit shook his head, "They always like it when more members want to join the clan." He told her reassuringly, then stood up, ready to lead her to their leader, "I'll show you mumma latter. First come meet Mistystar."

Whitepaw saw the perfect opportunity to meet the young kit. "Are you looking for Mistystar?" She asked, padding towards them.

"I-i g-guess so...," I said, looking at my paws anxiously. "I-I'm sorry i-if I seem rude, b-but w-who are you? W-where am I?" I asked. "I-I don't have a Mama. She left a moon ago. I can't find anything to eat either. Can you see my ribs?" I asked, looking down at my chest. My ribs were sticking out, the skin around them tight, clinging to the bone. I looked back up.

"Don't worry, here you're safe. I'm Whitepaw, and you are on Leafclan's Camp." She looked to the young cat and then ran towards the fresh-kill pile, bringing her a mouse. "And you need to eat. That's for sure."

I quickly ate the mouse. "Thankyou," I said nervously. "Um, I'm sorry for taking your food. I-I guess I'd better stop bothering you. I-I'll leave," I said, walking towards the entrance of the camp.

Whitepaw carefully grabbed her from the scruff. "If you leave, you won't survive. The best think you can do is stay here. Or, At least, rest before you go."
