Burntpaw
Burntpaw sat just outside the apprentice den, a yawn on his dark-colored face. As he closed his jaws he felt a flood of new smells enter his nose, fresh kill on the pile, fesh scents form the cats wandering around. Blinking slowly, Burntpaw stood up to pad to the fesh kill pile. More trotting then walking, he quickly fishes a crow from the Fesh Kill pile enforce retreating back to his spot new the apprentice den. Quickly, he finished the crow, and as he picked up the remains to throw in to the forest, a rabbit hopped past him. Barely thinking, Burntpaw bounded after the rabbit.

Raccoonstrike sidled out of the way as more warriors exited the den. He raised a paw to scratch at his ear, standing awkwardly on three legs as he itched. He plopped over after a moment, loosing his balance and landing on his tail with a soft thump. Grimacing with concentration, he clawed at his ear until the itch faded away at last. Snuffling quietly, the mottled tom dropped his hind paw and gathered himself into a more near-looking position. Not that it mattered, but he didn't want to be seen by every Clan member sitting on his tail with his legs splayed. Raccoonstrike drew his tail around his legs, blinking at the on-goings. His eyes slid past Spiderstar and Frozenheart, to Duststorm and her children, to the disappearing tail of Moonshade as she left camp, to Robintail across camp and her brother Jaystripe walking past. Raccoonstrike flicked his tail tip, and began to give himself a thorough washing. He licked each paw, focusing on drawing them over his ears and face. He wasn't in the mood for eating yet, so he decided to sit tight until he was needed for a patrol or such.

Deciding she had done all she could for her son, the calico dipped her head to her leader and looked around camp before padding over to Raccoonstrike. Flicking her tail almost lazily, she smiled at her denmate. "Do you think you could lead a border patrol? You can take Robintail, Foxchaser and Cinderpaw with you." She herself would lead the sunhigh patrol and take her own apprentice, Sunpaw, with her later. But next she had to organise a hunting patrol.

Raccoonstrike's ears pricked up as he heard his name. He opened his eyes, dropping his paw and glanced up to meet Duststorm's gaze. Blinking, he listened to her request. "Of course!" He dipped his head politely to her, then rose to his paws. Giving his pelt a quick shake, he flexed his claws and padded past the deputy with a swish of his fluffy tail. Now, off to find the mentioned cats.
The young warrior headed back towards the warriors' den to locate Foxchaser. He would inform Robintail in a moment, having already spotted her outside. Raccoonstrike peered into the den, finding the young tom's calico pelt, and let out a soft call. "Foxchaser! Patrol, please!" He hoped the calico warrior would hear, and stepped back from the den. He thought he had seen Cinderpaw leave camp already, and decided to pick her up on the way. Raccoonstrike then trotted toward Robintail, to greet the last patrol member. He approached the she-cat, slowing down as he did. "Robintail, you're to come on a border patrol with me." He meowed softly, hoping he did not sound too blunt.

She smiled in satisfaction and once again looked around her home, this time seeking out Jaystripe, Desertbloom, Dawnfeather and Seapaw. When she spotted Jaystripe a little way away from his sister, she bounded across the area until she reached his side. "Jaystripe, can you get Desertbloom, Dawnfeather and Seapaw? I'd like a hunting patrol before the fresh-kill pile gets too low." Then she could go and find Sunpaw; they could do some fighting practice and then collect a border patrol.

Silverspirit


Silverspirit slowly opened her deep blue eyes, letting them adjust to the small amount of light shining into the warriors den. It still felt weird to sleep next to cats that originated from other clans. Silently, she stood up. Silverspirit didn't want to wake the other cats. Careful not to step on any cat, she made her way out of the den. A purr escaped her throat as the new-leaf sun hit her pelt. She could hear other cats talking, though it was mostly about patrols. From what she could tell, she hadn't been selected for one yet. Taking advantage of the time to herself, she slipped into the forest. Once out of site, Silverspirit raced through the forest. She remembered racing with her littermates, though Silverspirit herself would always win. Suddenly Silverspirit stopped, thinking about her littermates reminded her that she was now alone. She had no kin left, no one to really talk to. Silverspirit would just have to get rid of her uneasiness and make some friends.

The tom perked his ears as his name was called. With a yawn he stretched, padding out and blinking. As soon as his eyes adjusted he walked toward Spiderstar and Frozenheart. "Where are we heading this morning?" He asked. The brilliant blue eyes he possessed shone in the dim light, sparkling like a pool of water. His back arched and he stretched, watching everyone else. A touch of hunger was in him, but that could wait.

Frozenheart flicked her tail, spotting Littlehawk. "Spiderstar, Littlehawk is here." she meowed calmly as the black tom approached. Not exactly knowing where they were going to hunt, the pure white she-cat kept silent at Littlehawk's question. She did rise onto her paws swiftly and silently, however, and watched the two toms to signal that they were ready to go.
