.:Ajax|Male|Frustrated|Talking to~:.
Ajax looked down as Siren yelled at him. He looked up at her and felt like a pup again. He nodded and watched the oracle saunter off."
Sorry, I scared you," the brute said to the white scout before him. He saw his nod and dipped his head to him. He turned and walked off, muttering about how he was just trying to have some fun. He saw a siloette ahead and slowed, watching it come closer. Realizing it was only Niall, he left out a sigh of relief. At least it wasn't the Alpha coming to see what the comotion was. He passed the brute and dipped his head to him. He headed back to the bridge and soon felt the cool water on his feet. He head deeper untill the water came up to his shoulder. He let out another sigh and relaxed, his black and white fur slightly floating out from his body.

The brute slid into a sitting position and watched the sun rise over the city. Ajax's ears flicked back and forth as he caught the sounds of activity from beyond. Mostly humans, cars, cell phones, and doorbells. He yawned and though about heading back to take a nap.

cʋяяɛит мσσ∂ :: Tired, needs sleep.
ℓσcαтισи :: Under the George Washington[ GW ] Bridge
ιитɛяαcтισи :: Kali
cяʋƨн :: "Pssh..."
Talking to Kali gave him something to focus on that didn't have to do with falling over and sleeping. The physical doing of moving your mouth to different positions was enough to keep his eyelids from falling. It did quite amuse him when in response to him saying he trusted her judgement, she countered with... A funny comment. He had certainly not been expecting the counter-comment he had received, and the surprise, mixed with the hilariousity caused him to laugh. Then, as the conversation turned back to the location of the area that she wanted permission to go, his manner became slighty more serious, he was attempting to be more focused. He nodded his head, he thought he knew where she was talking about, or at least the general area. "Alright, but make sure that you bring another scout with you." that was going to be his only guideline to what she was going to do. Other than that, she was free to bring and do who and what she pleased. He took a quick look over in the area she had specified, and the main concern that he had would be them getting across the bridge. That was a very risky thing to do, even though it was very early in the morning because it would leave them completely exposed.

The bridge. Was the there a possibility that the youngling had gone over the bridge? It would leave her completely exposed to many of the dangers that the outsiders, and the two-legs posed to them, ten-fold. That possibility frightened him, probably more so than usual due to his lack of sleep, which caused him to have a whacked up sense of reality. Wait a second. Didn't I say myself that she was a clever little pup? I shouldn't be worrying so, she's probably fine... Although not completely reassured by his own attempt, he was not quite as worried. It was kind of funny actually, he was able to cure himself of his anxiety and when he was actually awake, he could never do that.

"Oh, I couldn't ask you to do that." Even though he was half-asleep, he was awake enough to know when someone offered to do something for him. He didn't want to put more burden on her, as it seemed with scouting the new area was enough. But, after his little fight with himself he did agree with her on the second half of what she said. "I guess you're right." He chuckled a little. When she suggested he go to sleep, inside he knew that it was a good idea but yet... He had a few matters to attend to. However, she did seem ever-so-slightly worried as he probably would be if it was another dog and not him. "Alright, I will take a quick nap after I do a couple things." Since, technically, the pack had no boundaries, since they 'didn't exist', the scouts didn't really have border patrol, they just looked around the proximity of the area that the majority of the pack was in. He was going to help out there, but maybe instead he should just go to sleep after he had talked to a few dogs and finished what he needed to do. It would probably be a good idea, even though he had woken up not ten minutes ago.

Suddenly a random thought passed through his head, I haven't spoken to Niall in awhile, I should check in with him... He looked up and he saw Niall pass by with a dip of the head, which he returned, Speak of the devil, there he goes now. While he was looking at Niall, over his head he spotted Siren sitting a few meters away. She didn't seem like she was waiting for anything, just sitting there... Relaxing. He wasn't sure if this was the case but he decided he would see soon enough. Right now he was talking to Kali.

• | Kali | Fae | Lead Scout | Three | •

Hearing Bruce laugh made her feel good. At least she could sill make others laugh at some facts though she wasn’t particularly sure if that was to be a good thing or a bad thing. Right now making him laugh seemed to be a good thing and it brought a small smile to her face as the moment seemed to pass by. Though out of the corner of her eye she could see Siren. The other fae seemed to be hanging around and at that she started to realise why she could be waiting was probably the same reason she was talking to the alpha. Maybe she needed to ask a question or talk to him, she wouldn’t really know for sure what she would want. But it gave her a view of how long she has been talking to Bruce for, even if to her it didn’t seem like that long she knew that others had things to say as well. Turning her attention back to the alpha when he started to speak again she listened to the conditions of her little scouting exploration and nodded slightly a little understandingly at the terms he had said. “Understandable, but I wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt on the little scouting trip so don’t worry if we’re not back quickly” she replied. It was the truth and she wouldn’t do something that would put anyone in any form of danger.

The only thing that made her think a little would be if something actually happened. If anything does go wrong with the small trip or someone got hurt she wouldn’t leave them, what she would do would depend on the situation. Thinking about it a little she knew it was bad to think about the things that could go wrong and she knew that those things rarely happened. Shifting a little she looked at Bruce “I would only worry if we weren’t back by tomorrow” she said before shaking her fur a little as she felt a little shiver run down her spine. The only thing she would really be worried about is the humans, animal control she could deal with most of the time but she knew that you still had to be careful when they came about.

Listening to his reply to the topic of finding the little puppy known as Alysia she took in what he was saying before nodding a little. “Maybe Zach might know where she is, he’s somewhere around here. And I will keep an eye out for her when I look around.” She added. The little pup was part of the pack and she didn’t want to know what she could get up to if something bad happened to the pup or any of the puppies in the pack for that matter. Hearing him reply to the comment about the nap she realized she had gone off a little in her own world and immediately paid attention since she never means to. Her worry was good something’s but other times it wasn’t very good. “You better get a nap soon, don’t want to fall asleep when we need you. But I think that some others might need you now and their to kind to intrude our little conversation.” She said as she looked at Siren for a few seconds then back to Bruce. “I better leave before I hold up your line of fans any longer then I already have” she added smiling a little and moving away a little before looking back at him. “Hey the longer you prolong sleep the longer you will need it” she said before smiling little and moving away nodding a small greeting towards Siren and Niall.

Turning her head around a head of her she set her goal to find one of the scouts. She only needed one and truthfully she knew that she could probably go alone but if anyone wanted to come with her then she would let them. Glancing up a little at the sky she smiled a bit, time to find some interested scouts… or pack members. Maybe even little Alysia alone the way.

• | Zach | Brute | Apprentice Radier | Pup | 5 months | •

Sniffing around a little the little pup wagged his tail a little before looking up and around, he had seen Alysia here earlier and had followed her though he started to wonder if he might of scared her off by walking up behind her. But the action had proved a little wrongly as the other pup had started to run, tilting his head a little he moved out after her trying to avoid humans and stick to the shadows but the task was proving a little useless as the figure of the other pup seemed to start disappearing from his sight. Tilting his head a little his legs kicked into action, using his paws to kick some of the dirt off the concrete floor as he sprinted after the other pup.

Alysia” he called glad that he was a little taller than the other pup. It gave him the ability to catch up a little faster as he did so, but he was scared that he might get lost. Or that she could get lost and he would lose sight of her. Hopefully then one of the other adults would find them, he really would be lost if the adults weren’t around. Opening his jaw a little he continued to run after the other pup, moving around some of the objects that seemed to get in his way and trying not to trip over in the process, tripping probably being his main concern right about now. Taking in some oxygen he looked up at Alysia realising he was getting closer to her, a small smile forming on his fast as he knew he was catching up quicker than he had anticipated.

But his curiosity strayed a little and some of the objects started to gain his attention a little more then they should of. Shaking his head a little he started to slow down a little as he stopped realising the direction that Alysia was going he come to a halt, one of his ears blown back from the quick running. Shaking his head a little getting his ear back to its half floppy half standing ways. Turning his head to the side he moved out of the way of some legs that seemed to come out of nowhere, really he felt like he was going to be stood on somehow and he ran for cover. Heading down a alley down the side of a building, his legs taking him at a jogging pace. Looking around quickly he moved into what looked like a little bit of a rundown cardboard box. The entrance having caved in a little, which meant that anyone who came in the alley wouldn’t be able to see him unless they investigated the box a little more but he shook the thought off.

Ajax sighed and stood, Feeling the water runn off his coat as he headed back to land. He reached sore and shook out his dense coat, taking in his surroundings as he did so. Yawning again, the brute walked over to where he slept. He walked into the old pipe and layed down on some pine needles he found. The beta layed his head on the old pillow he had stolen, and closed his eyes. Finally, some peace and rest, he thought, slowly starting to nodd off. He had always been a light sleeper, mostly for staying alert all the time. He finally drifted off and started to dream about beeing away from the mist.

Kodi shook his head and walked around for awhile. He started to do what he had been earlier, circling to the very edges of the mist. He kept his head low and made sure his curiousness stayed inside of him. The brute padded on, through puddles, the river, anything in his way. The white dog thought he saw others, but he payed them no attention. Finally he slowed, ending up under a bridge. He sighed and sat, thinking about nothing in general. He had nothing to do, and he was tired of walking in circles. So the scout just sat there, waiting for anybody to come and either talk to him or to get him moving.

Kali shook her head a little before seeing one of her scouts a little further away from where she was standing. Looking a little closer she could telling that the figure belonged to Kodi and couldn’t help but smile a little. The recent terms of what the alpha had said about her little scouting trip across the bridg ran through her head, ‘take another scout with you’. She just had to choose that scout, for one she knew that on the other side of the bring there were a lot more reported sightings of animal control. Truthfully she would hate it if anyone had gotten caught by animal control and no matter what she knew that the risks were probably a little high but if there was more food and shelter there then she would go and scout. Just with another scout.

Turning her head in the direction of the brute she smiled a little before making her way over towards him. “Kodi, I have a question for you” she said softly as she neared to a halt in front of the scout. Her eyes looked up at him and she knew that he had probably been doing some scouting business, something that she was a little proud of. At least the scouts knew what to do. Shaking away those thoughts she started on her little question she had for him. A question because she didn’t want him to come along with her if he didn’t want to, then she would try and find one of the others or just go to the place alone. Looking back at him she started her question, “I need to go and investigate a little area over the bridge and I was wondering if you would like to come with me since it’s a scouting job” she added, giving him a choice. Shifting her weight a little she looked at the brute waiting patiently for his answer.

Siren|Female|Troubled|Talking to: Bruce

The fae waited patiently for the two's conversation to finish. Being her patient self she didn't mind the wait. In fact it was somewhat relaxing. Though anyone who knew her knew she was never truly relaxed. She might act like it but her mind was always racing with questions and tasks to complete. Being the Oracle there really wasn't much to do physically, but mentally there was always something to think about it. Siren loved it! The feeling of having a problem in front of you that you had to solve, the deep thinking and complicated things. She was nearly bouncing with the thought of it, it made her happy. But of course she didn't.
Looking over to see Kali and Bruce's conversation finished she stood slowly. Making sure there would be enough time for their final words. As Kali passed by and nodded Siren returned it though it was much quicker. She was busy after all and doing things quickly was her way when she was busy. Trotting over she motioned her head for him to follow. She felt this was a private conversation. That and she felt her delay was quite embarassing. Could she be losing it? "The Sight", did you ever lose it? Her mind began racing with questions and potential answers followed by more things to back it up or contradict it. She hadn't even realized she had nearly passed up where she planned to speak, the area covered by a low wall, it was much better for private conversations. She shook her head, clearing it and trotted behind the wall. After both were there she looked him dead in the eye, a completely serious face matched with equally serious eyes. "I suppose you needed to speak with me just as I need to speak with you." She said it more as a statement then anything else. "I'm troubled," of course she used that word, it wasn't often that she became worried about such things and preferred the word troubled, "I haven't seen or heard a thing in over three weeks." Siren informed him, she patiently awaited his response.

ℓσcαтισи :: Under the George Washington[ GW ] Bridge
ιитɛяαcтισи :: Kali / no one

Bruce couldn't understand what had happened since last night. Nine times out of ten, he was either first or second up, and he was almost always really good about being completely awake within thirty seconds of waking up. Just focus on the task at hand. Just, focus. Shaking his head to rid his mind of all these thoughts of things that he couldn't change were pointless, he had already promised Kali that he would take a nap later, and take a nap later he would. He just needed to stop thinking about it now and the time would come much faster than it would if he continued thinking about it. The conversation being brought back to their scouting trip, he nodded as she told him they would not be back quickly. That was to be expected, as it was very difficult to move fast anywhere during the day, especially over a bridge. It was very wise of her to think of the danger factor there, since there was certainly risk involved in this sort of exploration, or if you wanted to make it sound like one of the things on the moving screen thing, you could call it a mission.

Tomorrow? That's probably about the right time to begin worrying. However, Kali said it so bluntly that he couldn't help but let a small smile creep it's way onto his lips. "Can do." He sighed when the topic switched back to Alysia. She was such a cute little pup, and it would be horrible if she were to be lost so early in her life. It wouldn't be her fault, but instead the blame would fall on the pack who failed to protect her. Kali's right, isn't Zach a good friend of hers? "You're right, I think he would. They're probably together, if that." He was going to keep an eye out as well, however he wasn't going to be able to devote all his energy into that, "Sounds good." He nodded because she had said that she would keep an eye out. As she brought up Zach, that also brought Zach into the picture. Where was he? Oh well, they would turn up soon enough. If they didn't then they would have a problem. But he didn't have to think about that yet, it hadn't happened.

He had been trying to avoid thinking about sleep, but Kali brought it up again and he was once again forced to think about where he wanted to be right now. "I will." Then he turned his head to see that Siren appeared to be looking at them from the corner of her eye, but he knew her too well. He knew that she would never intrude on an already going-on conversation unless she thought that what she said was terribly urgent. When she said something about his 'fans', he just had to laugh. Fans? I doubt that I would have fans... So many other dogs are better fitted to have fans than I am. However, I do like the sound of that. Then she told him about sleep again and he rolled his eyes. "Fine, fine fine. First, I get a fanclub, then I get sleep!"

As Siren walked up to him, he gave her a warm smile. Her superstitions were correct, he had indeed wanted to see her. Three weeks? That's longer than usual, is it not? "Are you sure that there was nothing? Have you spoken to Dezerae to see if she has see anything?" He wasn't sure if that was a bad sign, or if it really wouldn't have an impact on anything. The things that she saw were often times the things that would help them survive. Not having one for so long... It sort of frightened him, even in his not-all-there state of mind.

Δ ℓ ʏ ƨ ι α

cʋяяɛит мσσ∂ :: Relaxed
ℓσcαтισи :: An alleyway a few blocks from the GW Bridge
ιитɛяαcтισи :: Zach
cяʋƨн :: "I've never had one..."
Drip. Drop. Drip. Drop. The dripping of water from a broken faucet echoed through the empty alleyway as it gathered in a small pool. It's sound was loud and menacing against the stillness of the environment that it was surrounded by. The edge of the faucet was jagged, and Alysia was glad that she had not run into it as she passed by. began to wonder where Zach was. She had not seen her fellow pup-mate's smile in a while, and she hoped that nothing bad had befallen on him. She walked down the side of the alleyway, covered by the shadows, with a slight jump in her step. She couldn't explain it, but she felt so... Relaxed must be the word. Her muscles were all loose, and at this moment she wished that Zach was here so that they could race. Perhaps today would be the day that she finally beat him in a race. She had the disadvantage since she was shorter, but today she felt like a winner.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice calling her name. She smiled when she recognized the voice as Zach's, but she did not turn her head to face him. She simply slowed her pace from a trot to a fast walk so that he could catch up. She could hear him coming up fast, which since he was taller than her was understandable. The steady beating of both their paws was almost melodic, and it only added to the relaxing air that she felt around herself. It was as if she were in a bubble, and nothing could touch her when she was in this bubble. But even she knew that this was not the case. The world was unforgiving to those who took life too lightly, and yet it was often brutal to those who took it too seriously. She could only hope that she was able to find a medium of the two, and she hoped she found it soon. She didn't want to have to adapt to another, new lifestyle.

She suddenly heard the rustling of legs. Two-leggeds. She withheld a squeal of fright and sprinted for the safety of a nearby dumpster. Her legs felt like they were on air. She ran, but could not feel a thing. Only once she had wedged herself between the grimy bottom of the dumpster and the wet ground did she allow herself to breath again. So much for relaxation. was the only thought that ran through her mind. After the legs were gone, something clicked inside her head, and she realized that in her rush she had lost Zach! How, how, how do you lose a dog like Zach? that was a question that she struggled to answer for herself as she turned back the direction she had been coming from a few moments prior. Although she wanted to call out for him, she knew that since the legs had only just retreated that would probably be an act of suicide. She sighed, and started sniffing the ground for scents of his trail.

Siren|Female|Troubled|Talking to: Bruce

After Bruce had finished talking she turned her head towards the vast area in front of her as if suddenly all the answers would be right there in front of her. But of course things weren't that simple, you wanted answers; well you should go work for them! That might be something she hated, it even contradicted her problem happy nature. Why couldn't she be less confusing! The fae even confused herself. Oh look! Another reason to add to her list! But which one? The one about why she didn't really have friends, most were nice to her because of her rank. Right? Not like anybody goes out of the way to talk to you. Probably because you constantly worry about something stupid or only want to- STOP Siren! Siren finished her rambling, eyes wide. She hadn't even realized she had been doing that, typical of her! Sighing softly she straightened herself out, shaking away all those unhappy thoughts.
"The only thing Dezerae has seen -or felt- was a scared feeling. Of course that's just her finding her new gift, she hasn't yet learned to control it and it is affecting her feelings. In due time it will disappear." She told him. Of course she didn't look at him, her eyes were still gazing out. In fact she was a little troubled by her previous thoughts, of course that was just her being her! Oh Siren, why can't you be more relaxed. Oh wait! You're you! she told herself sarcastically. "Excuse my distant mood, just a little paranoid that's all. You should go to sleep, tired is practically drowning you." She said softly, obviously trying to keep the subject away from that matter.

The white brute looked at his leader. Kodi raised his eyebrows in question and listened carefully to her statement. He glanced past her for a moment, taking in a boat passing beyond the mist. He turned his attention back to her. The scout's ears perked up as he heard the word scouting. He smiled and nodded,"
Sure, I'll come with you," he sayed. He felt the curiousness start to rise up in side him, untill his was slightly fidgeting. He tryed to control it, but the feeling was just bursting from inside his white body. He watched Kali instead, trying to hold on to himself and to niot get himself in more trouble. Kodi sighed and shifted his weight back and forth.

As the mist seemed to provide some shelter from the sights of others it got her thinking is she could at least try and use that to their advantage. They would have to go across the bridge since it was to long to swim and even then some dogs wouldn't be able to get up out of the water. If anything happened, not to mention boats and varies other factors that could make swimming across virtually impossible. But it was nice to test the impossible sometimes, now was just not one of those times that she would. As the fae looked around a little her eyes finally landed back on the brute in front of her, one of the scouts. It reminded her of times when she use to be a scout and everything, good times. Now though she was the leader and she had to act like one, otherwise there would be consequences if she didnt. The only thought that worried her a little would be that she wasn't a good leader but she had to keep thinking positive.

Shaking her head a little before she heard Kodiak finally reply to her she smiled a little at what he was saying. Listeing to his words for a few minutes before moiving deciding to reply. "Well then we better be going, over the bridge, careful though dont wnat to run into any of those Animal control things" she muttered a little cautiously. Hopefully nothing would go wrong during the little trip since the pack didnt seem to expand its territory that much. Probably that was because they weren't meant to exist but oh well it was stil nice to check the area since it could provide them some food if they needed some. BUt that was the raider's job wasn't it? "Lets go then" she added casually but a little happy that he hadn't backed out of the offer.

Moving around she started to head towards the top of the bridge were the two legs seemed to be, a few two legs. Of course though she knew they had to be careful. One of the basic things being to stick to the shadows. Shaking her pelt a little as a small shiver seemed to crawl up her spine she turned and looked at him and smiled a little. "Found anything interesting before today?" she asked, wondering if he had found anything on any scouting trips before today or not.

The craved in box that Zach had somehow managed to get into and out of sight of anyone near the Alley was making him a little worried. A reason being for one that he didn’t like being alone and this was one of those times that he wasn’t particularly wanting to be alone. Apart from that he truthfully felt a little off. The little pup’s stomach seemed to just not agree with him about anything, causing a fair amount of pain and discomfort to the pup. But he only hoped that it would go away over the few hours that seemed to come, maybe he shouldn’t of ate the pretty looking plant. But he couldn’t help it, after all he did do it on accident and he really didn’t plan to do it again not after what he was experiencing now. Though he did know that if it started to hurt for much longer he might have to tell one of the adults and really he hated telling the adults things that he had gotten up to.

Shifting a little in the box Zach moved his paws around turning his direction towards the opening and crawling out. Maybe he shouldn’t run anymore since it really wasn’t making him feel any better, now though he just had to get to the normal place where the pack all seemed to gather up after finding Alysia of course. That’s really why he was here, to find her. Shaking his fur a little he moved towards the entrance of the alley he was in and glanced around. The humans seemed to have gone somewhere so he knew he would probably have to be quiet. Hopefully he could do that… well he was Zach. Sniffing out a little trail around the place he started to make his way back towards where he had first scene Alysia and he smiled a little once he saw her.

Tilting his head a little as he looked at her he moved over towards her. Being slower then he usually would be in any other case. Any other case being he would run over to her and playfully tackle her but he wasn’t feeling like doing anything like that right now. Shaking his fur a little when he got close enough to her he smiled a little. “There you are, I’ve been looking everywhere for you” he whispered trying to be quiet in case the two legged people came back. “What have you been doing?” he asked playfully smiling and heading in the direction of the bridge. He had been told that the big bridge was the place where the pack would always be, he just hoped that the pack was there. Looking back at her he sent a grin in her direction as an idea started to form in his head “You didn’t get lost did you?” he asked laughing a little as he did so.
