Jenna stepped back and stepped on a sharp pointy rock. She pulled back," ouch!" she whimpered. She held her left paw. She saw a straight cut across her middle paw pad. She dropped her head still holding her paw. She was in pain of this deep cut.

Zorro looked at her cut, and he bent down and put gently it in his mouth. His eyes met hers, and he said through his teeth, "wait. Put it in the pond water." He did just that; he nudged her towards the little pond, taking her hurt paw and guiding it into the warmth of the water.
