Echostar glanced back at her weary clan. "We're nearly there. See, maybe 30 foxlenths and we will be at the edge of the dunes. We can just slide down into the dip, where its somewhat sheltered." she said, feeling a burst of energy, a burst of hope.

Splashingriver nodded and raced on, eager to get some rest.

Tigerheather looked at the kit "I'll be able to tell when we stop, keep a close eye one him." The male instructed through a mouth full of herbs.

Bramblestrike bounded towards the dunes, looking forward to a nice rest.

Roseheart brushed her pelt by Tigerheather, then raced on ahead behind Bramblestrike and Splashingriver. It was all the energy she had left to slide down into the dip.

Echostar followed her Clanmates, flying across the hot sand under the dying sun. She slipped down the dip's side and landed with a thump in the sand. She didn't care. It felt good to lay down, but she got up, to reassure the Clan. She waited for all of them to come down.
