Skyheart yawned and eventually her eyes opened and she smiled. "I don't think she will mind." Skyheart got up onto her paws and walked over to him, then pressed against him and walked out. "Come on, let's go." She purred, excitedly. She then realized that she had a large crush on Hollowflame, but just blinked and smiled even more.

Hollowflame hadn't imagined since the moment Stormheart was exiled that he would feel the same kind of happiness ever again, but as he rubbed against Skyheart rather involuntarily on his way out of the warrior's den, he couldn't help but be filled up with the feeling. For the first time since their deaths, Hollowflame was able to put Rosefeather and Littlepaw out of his mind; leading Skyheart away from the tragedies of camp and out into the unpredictable, wild forest.

Skyheart smiled and continued forward. She launched forward quickly and jumped onto the log. "Bet you can't catch me!" She giggled and ran into the forest as fast as she could.

Terrorspirit nodded. "A patrol would be nice.. I haven't been out of camp for a while." She flicked the tip of her tail. She also looked around to see if she could spot her sister, wondering if she was planning a patrol anytime soon. However, just like Willowbee, she couldn't find Ocelotstep.

Hollowflame rolled his eyes at Skyheart's claim, launching himself forward until, with his long strides, he caught up to her and pounced her. He let out a hearty chuckle and pinned her down by her shoulders, about to lick her forehead until a retched scent reached his nose. He swiveled his ears toward the direction, meeting Skyheart's gaze before looking up to see what it was; choking in horror when he saw the dead body of Ocelotstep.

Skyheart laughed and looked at him for awhile with her sweet blue eyes, until she saw him with a worried look. "What's wrong?" She carefully got up and looked at the body, and gasped. "OCELOTSTEP! Oh no!" She ran over to her and checked her heartbeat, but it was no use. She was gone....Just like that.

Thornpaw’s eyes narrowed as he watched his brother race out of camp with Skyheart. What was it with those two? Curious where the two were heading off to, Thornpaw followed, at a distance. He was careful not to be seen, and kept to the shadows. With a single bound, he was able to leap into the branches of a nearby tree, seconds before Hollowflame’s head swiveled in his direction. Then the scent hit his nostrils, and he had to dig his claws in to the branch to stop him self from falling off. He looked down, towards the base of the tree and it was then that he fell. There, crumpled, bloodied, and dead, lay Ocelotstep, his mentor, and the clan’s deputy. He held back a wail of anguish, as he realized Hollowflame was now aware he had followed the pair into the woods. Ashamed, he fled back to camp, before his brother could say anything.

Hollowflame had only just realized that the scent of his brother trailed behind them, and he would have a talk to him about that, but he was more concerned about Ocelotstep right now. He pressed himself against Skyheart in a comforting matter, drawing his breath in shakily, "Shh, shhh, it's okay. Look, the mouse. Did she fall?" he meowed this hopefully, but after the murder of Littlepaw and Rosefeather, he couldn't be sure.

He let out a nasally sigh, tentatively lifting his head over hers and licking her forehead smooth. It seemed that the more he tried to convince himself she had fallen, the less he believed it. They had unjustly exiled Stormheart... "She didn't... come on, let's bring her back."
