Terrorspirit was in the warriors' den for a while, so she hadn't had much to do with anything that'd happened recently. She was in the usual spot; her nest. It was mostly because she didn't feel like socializing after hearing of the death of two poor cats. It kind of scared her, and she didn't really know why it scared her, but it just did. Today, however, she decided that was going to change. She quietly padded out of the warriors' den, and into camp. Maybe she could socialize with someone if she went out. She hoped that it would be another cat coming to her first, so she wouldn't have to be the conversation starter.

Willowbee woke up at a regular time, despite her sadness for Rosefeather and Littlepaw. She rose from her nest after giving her pelt a quick shake and slipped groggily out of the den. She glanced around to see who was awake, hoping to see her sister Magpiesong. Instead she only saw a couple scattered warriors, one of which was Terrorspirit. "Hello." The tabby meowed with a small, sad sigh as she approached the other warrior. "How've you been?"

Thornpaw awoke with a groggy mew, shaking bits of dried moss from his pelt as he did so. He hoped that if he was the first cat awake, he would be able to get permission from his mentor, Ocelotstep, to go hunting before she became busy with the rest of her clan duties. Though as he stepped out of the den, he was disappointed to find that several cats had beat him to the chase, and that he would have to wait. He hadn't even been awake for five minutes and he was already grumpy. He would go complain to Stormhe-... Stormheart... It took a moment for his dazed brain to recall the numbing events of the day prior. Rosefeather...Littlepaw...Stormheart was accused...and exiled? No...he couldn't think about it. He was not going to even let it cross his mind. It was a new day. Maybe the clan would realize its mistake and allow her to return soon. He finally realized he was standing in the way of the other apprentices and scampered off to the shade under one of the oaks. He saw the warriors sitting about camp, but avoided eye contact. He never cared much for conversations anyways. The only cat he wanted to talk to was Stormheart.

Emberstrike stretched and left the warriors den,
as the number of cats outside of it continued to
swell. He figured there was no use it trying to
sleep while other cats were awake, and
noisily conversing. He walked towards
Thornpaw, wondering if the apprentice would
like to share tongues with him, but judging from
the glare he received once he was within a
yard from the ornery tom, Thornpaw was in
no mood for talking, so Emberstrike decided
he'd visit Ravenwillow, his mate and Tulipkit
his daughter in the nursery instead.

Terrorspirit turned to Willowbee. "Hello," she greeted, trying to sound friendly, but not doing the best job at that. "I've been fine, for the most part, I suppose." She wasn't sure how else she could've answered the question. "How about you?" She tried to keep the conversation going.

Hawkpaw lumbered our of his nest, lightly shaking moss out of his matted fur. The young Tom hadn’t slept well, and it was easy to tell from his appearance. His fur was matted in sweat, and he walked with a slight limp. His eyes were filled with grief for his mother and brother. He didn’t think he would ever get over their losses. “I’m right here”, he replied to his mentor as he started heading towards the den’s entrance.

A warm figure pressed against the white tom's flank, transferring warmth in through his skin; and the moment his eyes slowly flickered open to see whom it was, believing it was perhaps Stormheart until he realized that was impossible, the warmth spread into his heart. The cat was Skyheart. Skyheart had decided to lay down next to him. Was this a friendly action? His sister had just been unjustly exiled... it would make sense that Skyheart would want to comfort him; but he hoped and couldn't help but think that it may be more than that. In any case, he didn't move a muscle except to inch his muzzle closer to her's.

Skyheart nuzzled into him, smiling. Soon she felt her anxiety leave her whole body, and she fell asleep once again right next to him. Her tail laid right next to his and of course she also purred the whole time.

Willowbee swished her tail before answering. "I'm fine, given the circumstances." She meowed with a sorrowful glance at where Rosefeather and Littlepaw's bodies had been placed the night before. She shook out her striped pelt and cleared her throat. "I kind of just want to take my mind off it. Hopefully Ocelotstep will put me on an early patrol." The she-cat craned her head over her shoulder to search for the deputy, but didn't see her rosette pelt anywhere.

When Hollowflame eventually decided it was time to awake and be useful to the Clan, he gently nudged Skyheart with his nose, breath gentle against her fur, "Do you think Ocelotstep would mind us taking ourselves on a personal hunting patrol?" he felt a smile spread across his face as he uttered the words, tail curling ever so smoothly around Skyheart's flank.
