"You started taking orders from me when I became a medicine cat, thst's when." I snapped. "Rowanpaw, I know it's your destiny. But wouldn't you rather protect your leader when you hsve the oppurtunity? We don't know if this disease is so strong it could take Swiftstar's remaining lives."

Sparkpaw

I growled angrily. "Fine, Cloverwing can stay. Swidtstar, yiu hsve to leave. And Rowanpaw, eat snother poppy seed. It will... ease the pain." I knew he was dying, but I didn't want him to be in pain as he died. I pushed the poppy seed towards him. "And Cloverwing, you can't wail or scream or anything. You need to be quiet."

[Cloverwoods]

(This is when Rowanpaw is about to die and Swiftstar announces his warrior name, Rowancloud. )

Rowanpaw

Rowanpaw nodded his head at Sparkpaw's words, He growled and coughing loudly and wheezed, he then felt very weak and he weakly muttered. "I think this means goodbye, thank you for everything Swiftstar,Cloverwing, and the rest of the clan." He weakly lifted his head and smiled at Swiftstar and Cloverwing.



Cloverwing

Cloverwing started to weep again and meowed at her brother. "Goodnight brother mine, rest now in Starclan I'll miss you, carry on your happiness and my sorrow for you. You are so much more loved than you know, and forgive me for being so blind.."

She rested her head o his. "I ask my warrior ancestors to lookdown on this apprentice. He ha learned the warrior code and givn up his life inthe service of his Cln. Let StarClan receive him as a warrior. He will be known as Rowancloud." Swiftstar declared. "Bye Rowanpaw... you will forever be in the heart of your clanmates."

honeyfur sighed, before turning away. "alright. i must get back to rowanpaw. you look after him, -spidereyes, please?" the she-cat purred, before leaping away towards the old twoleg nest. quietly, honeyfur walked in, looking around. noticing everyone around rowanpaw, she sadly sat down near him. it was time "i know I shouldn't be in here, but i too would like to be with rowanpaw in his last moments, sparkpaw. i promise i will leave later. but, goodbye, dear rowancloud. we all love you." the small she-cat reassured him, her eyes warm and gentle, like a queens. "you're so important to all of us. especially cloverwing. she is the best sister you could ever wish for. goodbye, you will be dearly missed. you mean so much to us all. i mean it. we love you!" honeyfur added, looking over at cloverwing symathetically. "rowancloud, rowancloud, rowancloud!" the she-cat gave a whispery shout, her eyes widening as she knew how sad cloverwing would be.

nodding, regio watched him hop out of the log and run off shortly after. when the other she-cat wasn't watching, she would jump out and follow him.

Rowancloud

Rowancloud smiled. "Thank you Swiftstar, I'll watch over your clan up in Starclan.." He murmured to Swiftstar and Cloverwing, he then dropped his head and went limp.

Cloverwing

Cloverwing's eyes widen and gasped. "Rowancloud!.." She weeped and lifted her muzzle from his thick fur and lifted her head towards the sky, tears dropped down her face as she muttered to herself. "He's up there now.." She then gazed back at her brother, "why was his destiny to be taken away from us?.." She meowed and glanced up at Sparkpaw and Swiftstar. "Well, there's nothing we can do, let us carry him back to the clan and let the clan grieve for him." She meowed as the last teardrops fell from her face.

with a nod, i looked down at his dear limp body. even if he most likely didn't hear my words to him, i was glad to be there with him for his last moments. "i know it isn't, but i think someone needs you let you know it's okay, cloverwing." i murmured to her supportively, licking the tear off her cheek. "he's already watching you, so don't worry. i'll help you carry his body out. he was a fine cat, very helpful, accepting and and an overall sweetheart." honeyfur smoothly added, managing not to flood into tears herself. usually, if any clan member died, she'd be in a pool of tears. but not rowancloud. she knew that's not what a bright tom like him would want. "he wouldn't want you to be sad. he's not in pain, anymore! he's happy, he's pain-free, and he's going to watch us all grow into elders! one day, we'll be with him again. i promise. time will fly by before you know it."
