Herringpaw rolled his eyes, a smile finding its way onto his face. "Ugh fine," he responded. It hurt me when you lurched away when I was just trying to comfort you. "It sorta annoyed me how you wouldn't take my comforting and stuff." He confessed, shuffling his paws.

Snowfoot decided to go to sleep since there wasn't much to do, she padded off into the den and went to sleep with her head on her paws.

[Cradily]

Beechpaw blinked at him. "What comforting?"

Spiderheart lay stretched out on his side in the grass.

"When I licked your ear I was trying to comfort you," he murmured quietly.

[Cradily]

"Oh, that." Beechpaw remembered now. "Well, I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to be mean or anything. I'm just not used to cats doing that sort of thing." She tilted her head a little in thought and looked up at the sky, then back at Herringpaw. "I'll take your comfort next time, then, but only if you promise to go on another adventure with me."

Herringpaw nodded, obviously relieved they had worked things out. "Fine, deal. But before we do such thing, I'd like to recover from this one first." He replied.

[Cradily]

"Kay!" Beechpaw brightened up at once. Just then, she spotted a fish swimming by, and lashed out at it. The scaly creature was flung straight toward Herringpaw's face. "Catch it!"

Herringpaw hardly had enough time before the fish came sailing at him. He wasn't very good at these sort of "think fast" situations and ended up being smacked in the face with the fish. "Hey!" he exclaimed as the fish fell to his paws.
